No way going around it. #2020 is a blunder for a lot of reasons. But one thing I can say is that at least it was another fantastic year for #commissions! I worked with a couple of new faces and I had a lot of fun building some of the artwork that came out this year. I was very pleased to share them with you all and it was hard to really pick the ones I did to be on their respected number. I #DiD it, and here we are. As usual, the pictures on the cover art don't necessarily me
Here are some oldies from the past! Rikku #commissions from the talented Akira-jw! And hey! Rikku's not in #DiDressphere mode! Lady Luck is one of my favorite Dresspheres, that's for sure. While its in-game abilities aren't my typical playstyle, the way the three gals acted and moved while wearing said Dressphere is just tantalizing. Of course, Rikku is my favorite one in the bunch! And Akira just nailed it with this #commission. Rikku's expression, her body language, the act
The #DiDressphere project was over some time ago. I was very proud that I was able to collaborate with a handful of talented artists and put out some fantastic images of my favorite Al Bhed in some #DiD scenarios. While there was a hiccup or two with that original series, I knew that I wasn't planning on doing a part 2 of any of those lovely #commissions. Then I worked with OrangeBoyBC..... and things changed. Seriously, this picture is amazing. Something I always thought was
Ah, yes! This was the last of the Dressphere (well, chronologically, the Samurai DiDressphere was the last to get done, but this was the last one I commissioned if that makes any sense) finished it to join the #DiDressphere #Commission series I had going on some time back! This is Rikku's default and possibly sexiest outfit yet (like to see them top this off in FFX-3) and despite it not having any sense for a thief, I still rather adore it so I wanted to give it a very high c
Titi-Artwork was one of the talented artists that contributed to the #DiDressphere project and man am I pleased with this guy's work! And man #DiD I pick a good Dressphere for him to draw for this #commission! He has a knack for making color stick out and really come to life. That and he is amazingly talented with just drawing. He and I definitely took advantage of the way Rikku rides her machina and made it 'DiD' friendly! Until Next Time!
Ah! Rikku's Alchemist Dressphere! When I first started the #DiDressphere, I knew that there were some Dresspheres that I wasn't going to be as excited to #commission as say, her regular Thief or her Berserker Dressphere. But it was part of Rikku's outfit so commission them, I must. Unfortunately, the Alchemist Dressphere fell under that 'category'--the whole "obligated-to-commission" category. But hey, CarlosVasseur #DiD do a fantastic job. Rikku's Alchemist outfit, if nothi
No, it's not a #DiDressphere on Rikku's part! It's just me having fun with the idea of Elsa and Rikku swapping clothes lol. Clearly they're not adjusting well. AkinaSilver is responsible for this amazing artwork! Love the expressions! Don't you? Until Next Time!
In homage to a special game that came out today, here is Samurai Dressphere Rikku having one of her #DiDressphere moments! Man I remember this #commission! Probably one of the best from that series of commissions! I like using Rikku as a samurai because of her outfit--a homage to Auron from FFX. While Auron wore it with an intimidating factor and badassery, Rikku's version definitely has the sexy factor to it. And when placed in a rather compromising, #DiD scenario, it equals
Oh, Rikku! She sure can't get out of her #DiD moments, can she? Well, here's another gander at her #DiDressphere fiasco! A wonderful artwork provided by talented Sacodesaga! The trainer Dressphere adds another spice to this series full of twists and turns. The original look of Rikku's Trainer outfit had a long skirt that goes all the way down to her feet--it is also, might I add, one of her few modest Dresspheres. Fortunately, Sacodesaga took liberties and exposed Rikku's nic
I hate to admit it but this is really the first 'odd' area of the #DiDressphere project. First and foremost, it is the first of the DiDressphere that had a 2-part during the original run--and it's not because I planned it that way, it's because of the odd situation I ended up in due to me commissioning a 'group' of artists, DrawCommissions (the DA account now closed). Basically, I communicated with a middle person and not the artist herself, Sapphire8039. So, clearly, there w
Yuna's default Dressphere looks good on her, however, Rikku doesn't look too bad especially when placed in the #DiDressphere series! While I never used Rikku as a Gunner, I definitely wasn't going to overlook this Dressphere when going through this project. Seeing how the theme of a Gunner has a lot to do with the western/cowboy theme, I definitely needed to pay homage to that in regards to Rikku's #DiD moment. For this wonderful piece, I decided to go with Reptileye--a fanta
I knew I had to get Sharpffffff in the #DiDressphere project when it really took off. I always loved his style so Rikku had to get the #DiD moment under his care. For the "Festival" Dressphere, something as I see as jammies, I wanted something 'light-hearted' and different from the other commission positions. I also wanted the bindings to fit with the theme while still sticking out. What do I think of? Blue, tough, and elastic ribbons! Gift wrap her since she's spent the time
Rikku's Mascot Dressphere was always going to be a tough sell. The ever-so sexy Al Bhed is inside a Caith Sith suit and pretty much covered up and hardly recognizable. The only time she is recognizable is when she takes the mask off and out comes her adorable face. I had to juggle with paying homage to vibe of the Mascot Dressphere, the look of the Dressphere, and making sure we know that Rikku is in a #DiD moment. So how do I deal with this? The vibe was easy: hire Gaggeddud
AkinaSilver was #commissioned for the White Mage #DiDressphere series. Now, to be honest, I never really liked Rikku as a White Mage. Never used her as one in gameplay and for obvious reasons, I'm not a fan of the design. Though it is a signature Final Fantasy Job Class and I'm happy that Rikku participated in its legacy. With all that, AkinaSilver #DiD a fantastic job with the directions I gave her. I know, it looks a bit more pacifist compared to the other positions Rikku f
Even warrior Rikku wasn't going to get away from the #DiDressphere fiasco! Another #commissioned picture from the aforementioned series, this fantastic piece was the first collaboration I had with Blackprof and it was surprising that it didn't involve his certain preference. Still, this was the start of a beautiful few collabs of wonderful #DiD artworks! Rikku's time hanging around may not have been the best for her, however, it did pave the road for more awesome stuff! Can't
The Berserker Dressphere was one of my favorites on Rikku--for obvious reasons and for effectiveness in gameplay! It's just a perfect blend of usefulness and just enticing sexiness. Seriously, Rikku showing more skin than her Thief Dressphere? Or is it more? Regardless, it deserved a high caliber #DiDressphere! This is also the first time I worked with Gbeeee and it was an absolute blast! The only thing was that I wish I added with this #commission was background... but... ya
The #DiDressphere took me to SeductiveBunneh, an artist who also made her mark within the #DiD community. For the Psychic Dressphere, Rikku (and the other gals) tend to do superheroine things and float about indiscriminately. I figure for this duress, Rikku is strung up in homage to her usual antics with this Dressphere. And since she is a superheroine, she'll need some state-of-the-art restraints (binds and gags) so we went with something that combines energy and super durab
Skelebomb came into my radar sometime prior to commission my next addition to Rikku's #DiDressphere. Honestly, I wasn't quite sure if he would have been the best candidate considering that Rikku isn't his usual type of girl (the thiccer and bustier kind), but he DID magnificent with the spunky Al Bhed! Also, this is the Songstress Dressphere so I decided that Skele would have the arduous task of making the gag a bit more... unique and compatible with the Songstress' skillset.
The next addition to the #DiDressphere series is one of my favorite Dresspheres that Rikku (could wear) wore in the FFX-2 game. The abilities the Dressphere gave were, more or less, enemy/monster specialist and mixed with blue skill/enemy skill flavor. So basically, it's a useful Dressphere. Rikku's version of it is just... sexy. It's not her most exposing but it's not exactly the most conservative. For this #commission, ThunkStudio #DiD wonders with it! I've always loved the
The second addition to my #DiDressphere #Commission series! Rikku in her Black Mage Dressphere in some pretty distressing scenario! I don't think it's too hard to see that GREAT-DUDE is the one responsible for this fantastic artwork and might I add that he DiD a fantastic job! Now the staff is a bit too short and not 100% accurate, but hey, that's alright. Not TOO BIG of a deal. Classic GREAT-DUDE artwork that comes with amazing colored variants. This was also during Hallowee
