Funko POP: Sailor Neptune (Review)
Updated: Mar 2, 2019
Yes! Another #Funko_POP to join in! This time around we have Sailor Neptune from the popular Sailor Moon anime! I happen to be a fan of the anime and the Outer Senshis were my favorite. So, let's check this green haired water girl, shall we?
Pink and very girly; just like the anime. Moving on.
This is definitely the Outer Senshi set; or some can call it the Sailor Moon S set. Sailor Moon S is my favorite season of Sailor Moon, of course.
Sailor Neptune is one of the more distinguishable Senshi all because of the fact that she has this aqua colored hair--or green depending on what shade in that color spectrum the artwork is using. Regardless, her Senshi uniform is recognizable with the slight differences that would be associated with her. The Outer Senshis, at least Uranus and Neptune have shorter gloves. They also come with weapons/Talismans that they use for combat. This POP represent all the things I mention above quite nicely. Though unfortunately, mine comes with a defect on her skirt. Not sure how I can get it off, which is quite a shame. Though it's not that noticeable.
Somehow I feel like POP has done a better job on hair before, or maybe I'm just overthinking it. The green isn't bad though; I don't think it's 100% accurate to Michiru's hair color.
She's not going to pull any violin strings or submerge anyone completely with some amazing details or anything, but it is a nice POP. Sailor Neptune/Michiru Kaioh being one of my favorite Senshis, it's only natural I have her in my collection! And I'm planning on getting more of the Senshis!
Sailor Neptune and Super Sailor Moon.
Until Next Time!
