What the heck is a noodle-stopper figure? I don't know what that is but what I do know is that I have another 2B figurine in my collection! And it's a figurine that I have been waiting for a bit now so I'm pretty excited to share her. So let's take a look at FuRyu's Nier Automata YoRHa No. 2 Type B, shall we?

I've been around FuRyu brands before! They're not a bad brand at all. This 2B is also based on the anime and I can appreciate that!

I've talked about a few 2B figurines on my blog so it's no surprise that I like how her outfit looks. There's a simplicity to it thanks to her color scheme but the design has a lot of intricacies and subtle (and not-so-subtle) sexiness to it. The action figures, figurines, and statues I've bought of her have tried their best to really capture the essence of the YoRHa android and FuRyu does the same thing and I couldn't even be happier. The details of her outfit, from her chest piece, her feathered sleeves, the slit on her right side, the boots, stockings, all of it present. Of course, the hair and the 'goggles' are also done with precision so that one can immediately recognize the accuracy to 2B. Helps that the clothing all have wrinkled details which makes 2B's outfit look organic.

As far as her pose goes, FuRyu did well! Once again, a sitting pose is very rare in my collection, and when I get something like that, it usually looks very unique next to my other collections. The displaying option adds a good variation and she's nice to see. Helps that the details on her are quite nice.

While 2B (and YoRHa in general) have a very simple coloring scheme, execution still matters and FuRyu executed. The black is glossy in the right places, the stocking is transparent, and the white on her gloves and undergarment/piece is a good contrast to the rest of her outfit. 2B's hair and her skin are also the right colors. The execution of the colors is also top-notch. Definitely no complaints here.

For those who are interested in seeing how much work is put into her ... assets, there it is. The details of the indent on her butt for sitting are present, you can see the laces of her boots, and the wrinkles of her skirt are all present. Yes, details!

The SH Figuarts of 2B is my most recent articulated figurine (and possibly my last?). Next to each other, one can truly appreciate what both products are trying to do.

Just for a size contrast, here is FuRyu 2B next to Square Enix's 2B from Ver 1.1a. Yes, FuRyu's figurine is quite tiny.

I can say it's an easy recommendation from me. The price point isn't too heavy and she's posed in a way that adds more to the 2B display I have. Great details, well-done coloring, and just the accuracy is spot on. Pretty happy with this one. For any 2B fans out there, this one will satisfy.
Until Next Time!
