Funko POP: Max (A Goofy Movie 30 years)

Another A Goofy Movie POP is coming into the review! This time we have Max dressed as Powerline and, sheesh! This is a classic! So without further ado, let's take a look, shall we?

This is another POP for my special friend's collection. She might have every single one, and she might have completed the entire set. Maybe.

Not a bobblehead!

Max is a very vibrant and dynamic POP. From the pose to the colors... wow! He looks good! Pretty accurate to the animated movie. Honestly, it looks like an animated object that popped out of the screen! Of course, the stylized gigantic head of POPs still works, and Max looks adorable! I always love how eyewear comes out with POPs, and Max is no different. I love the shape, and I do appreciate it getting the mold it deserves to make it more pronounced. His hair and ears all look accurate to the show/movie, and look at that M.C. Hammer-inspired outfit! He's also got a pretty happy expression, and since Max is an anthropomorphic dog, Max gets a full-on mouth!

I love the dynamic pose! Max is getting down like it's the final few minutes of the movie! There's so much energy with this POP that it's amazing! The way his hands are out, his ears/hair is 'moving' with his motion, the smile--Max just looks like he's having a good time and this POP gives us a lot of good vibes!

The colors help put this POP high up as a memorable snag this year. The bright suit, along with the tints of orange, is a good contrast to the black boots and the dark hair. My favorite part is the blue paint across the left side of Max's glasses, giving that look from the animated movie. Also, the paint is all done cleanly! No complaints!

I am impressed with this POP. The pose, great. The colors, bright and perfect. The expression and the energy just coming out of this POP. Considering Max is half of the main character from the movie, I'm very happy they did it right. He's a definite must for those collecting this wave. And even if you're not looking for a Goof Troop collection, he's a great looking POP. My friend really loves him too, so that's a good indication. Snag him if you see him! Well worth it.
