Another very different but familiar Spidey is coming into the collection! Another gift from my girlfriend, and she's very awesome for making sure this one gets on my Spider-Verse wall! So enough talk! Let's review!

The Sketch series is a nice little series that Funko has for certain POPs. Doubt I'll get any more, but I'm pretty happy with this one.

A bobblehead!
A bobblehead!

As I have mentioned time and time again, Funko has a recipe when it comes to Spider-Man POPs, and for the most part, they have refined it to the "T". This Spidey in particular has all the hallmarks of previous Spidey POPs, so there's not much to say. Well, I suppose I could complain about the webbing and how it could've been sculpted better, but for the most part, it's what we expect from a Spidey POP, and that's not a bad thing. The design chosen for this Spidey is a classic look--one can easily tell by the spider emblem on his chest and on his back.

I also love the pose. It's a very dynamic Spidey doing Spider-Man things. We've seen this pose from other Spider-Man POPs, and honestly, I can't get tired of it since every single one has had some kind of variation. It does fit the character, so it's all good!

The paint job and color (or lack thereof) are the real selling points of this POP. It’s an all-white figure with sketched-style shadowing, and it actually works really well. It looks like a sketched drawing brought to life. The paint application is clean, so there’s not much to complain about. It stands out beautifully next to my other vibrant and colorful Spidey POPs.

Love that classic logo! I love the shading done on his eyes!

It's slightly jarring (in a good way) to see a black-and-white Spidey next to a fully colored one.

Here are some of my dominantly white-and-black Spidey POPs in my collection. Sketch Spidey is a bit more muted in color since it's supposed to look like a sketched POP.

The gimmick isn’t for everyone, but as a Spider-Verse collector, this one is a fantastic addition. I genuinely love it! It’s what you’d expect from a Spider-Man POP, but the unique color scheme is the highlight. Is it a must-have? For me, yes. Plus, it was gifted to me by my girlfriend, so it’s an automatic win for the collection!

Until Next Time!
