I am saddened to say that another talent from the DiD community passed away just recently. Unlike other posts with this kind of tone, I don't have any information on actual Birthday and the time of passing. Honestly, just read these:
It's pretty sad, especially when I pretty much had little to no contact with a lot of online folks lately. We didn't talk regularly or anything like that but we did have moments of conversation where we clicked. The last commission I did with him hit a lot of good ideas and possible things we wanted to do together. But, it's not about me or how I feel, it's about him. An artist who deserves attention for all the work he has done for the community and me.
I've commissioned TheBoundArtist90 with a lot of Elsa. There's a good reason why but that's not my story to tell. All I know is that he has a special kind of click with the Magical Kingdom. We had a few conversations about Elsa and the House of Mouse in general. We had some good conversations, some common interests, and a few disagreements.
I feel comic book parodies are one of his many specialties, which is why I commissioned him a couple of times for this sort of thing. That's right, he participated in the Crusade. This one with Silk was such a fun concept!
As I mentioned, I commissioned him for a couple of Elsa pics. And I've enjoyed them for how they came out and the passion he put into them. Going to miss that excitement... man, I really wish I did reach out to him again.
Last but not least, this one he did for me for Lathiira. Man, that wasn't that long ago. Damn. He had such passion for this one. Heck, he had a passion for the commissions he did for me, that's for sure. Such a shame.
He's always mentioned that it's a joy to work with me. He always used to say how much he liked my ideas and all of that. I had a few more commissions that I specifically wanted him to do and we've talked quite a bit about it. I had commissions I was going to build just for him... I have regrets about how I handled things. Maybe I could've spent more time and effort reaching out to him. Maybe I could've done more to express just how much I appreciate his efforts and his art.
Well, friend. I do hope you are resting in peace. And Lat, show him the way, old friend.
Thank you, TheBoundArtist90. Thank you for sharing your talent.
Thank you for giving me some of your time.
And thank you for the memories.
See You Next Time...
