It's been a while since this game was announced. And to this day, as far as I know, there hasn't been anything new that popped out about it. With Square Enix behind the trailer and obviously riding the wave of the Marvel Cinematic Universe hype, it's highly rumored to be an online game (Here's one article). I'm not sure what I would want from an Avengers based game since it's been a while since I can honestly say that Marvel stood out with a great video game. I'm hoping the Spider-Man Insomniac game will prove its worth and put Marvel back into the gaming industry.
Only time will tell. But I thought it's good to touch base on this game announced way back when. We'll probably get something when Infinity War hits the theaters.
