Square Enix: FFXIV Miniature Figure Collection Vol. 1 (Alphinaud & Alisae Leveilleur)

Going into the second set of this FFXIV Miniature Figurines. This time around, it's the Leveilleur twins! Yes, these two!

Imagine if this were a blind box hunt. Would've spent a lot of time and money just trying ot get zero duplicates.

Let’s start with Alphinaud! This is his Endwalker outfit after he switches to Sage. Ditching his old threads for this new look, Alphinaud has a lot of neat details going on. As a healer who also packs some offensive power with those blaster-like nouliths, he makes for a fantastic figurine.

All the intricacies of his outfit are present — the trinkets, laces, and the nouliths floating behind his back. There’s plenty to appreciate in terms of attention to detail and accuracy. Even the way his clothing flows, as if caught in movement, looks organic and really brings the figure to life. His familiar face, hair, and long ears are all here too, making him instantly recognizable. No complaints from me!

Alphinaud may be a healer, but Sages have more offensive flair than other healing jobs. I love how they posed him — his nouliths are in motion, and they used translucent plastic effects to give the perfect illusion of levitation. It’s very well done.

The coloring is spot-on as well. While he’s mostly navy blue and white, there are nice variations of silver, baby blue, and gold sprinkled throughout. All the intricate designs are painted with care and accuracy.

All in all, the clean paintwork and awesome sculpting make this another great hit in the collection. For fans of Alphinaud, this is a must-have. Highly recommended!

Now for Alisae. I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with her. From A Realm Reborn through Stormblood, she really got on my nerves, but I started finding her charming in Shadowbringers. Then Endwalker came along with her new outfit and deeper story, and I finally saw the appeal. That annoying spunkiness became genuinely endearing, and her scenes started carrying real weight.

Had I pulled Alisae first in a blind box, I wouldn’t have minded one bit. Like her brother, she has a very intricate design — little trinkets, belts, armor pieces, and more. As a Red Mage, she comes with her rapier and floating crystal. Of course, Alisae couldn’t have a plain rapier, so there’s even more complexity added to her look. Square Enix did an amazing job capturing all those details. She looks exactly like the Scions’ resident Red Mage, instantly recognizable even in this stylized chibi form.

I really like Alisae’s pose. She’s holding her rapier high while her other hand supports her floating crystal. It’s expressive and perfectly fits her Red Mage job. No complaints — it does a great job letting you admire her design and sculpt work.

Her color scheme is excellent too. She’s mostly red and white, which I like way more than the matching looks she and Alphinaud used to have. The dark red, white, and silver combination, paired with her gold-and-red rapier and crystal, looks fantastic. The paint is clean, sharp, and accurate. Another clear win.

Dukes and thigh highs. Her mom really knows how to dress her, eh?

Alisae is also a good figurine on her own. Loving the sculpt, the attention to details, the sharp coloring, it all adds up to a good representation of Ms. Leveilleur.

This is a strong pair. While the twins’ designs come from the FFXIV team, Square Enix has done a wonderful job translating them into these miniature figurines. Just like Y’shtola and Thancred, there are plenty of wins here.

Great little figurines overall. Highly recommended for Scions and FFXIV fans!
