We have another Final Fantasy x MTG! This time around, it's going to be FFXIV featured in this deck! And when there's FFXIV, we have Y'shtola being in the main spotlight! Pretty excited about it since I got this for Christmas. So let's go check this one out, shall we?

Again, I'm no expert with MTG, so I'm just here for the awesome artwork of FFXIV characters, moments, and locations. Not going to go through every card, but I will be looking at the ones that really stood out to me.

As I stated in my previous review, there are a lot of things I don't know about MTG content. All I can really say is that these cards feature a ton of my favorite FFXIV characters and moments—and of course, Y'shtola is front and center. They're all beautifully drawn, mind you.

Alisae and G'raha! While I stand my ground, I am not a fan of Alisae; her outfit for Endwalker was awesome.

Alphinaud also isn't high on my list, but we've had so many adventures together that he's far more tolerated now. Thancred, on the other hand, really came out of his shell during Shadowbringers—then again, so many characters absolutely shone in that expansion!

Meteor (WoL) and Lyse! I swear Lyse is such a looker, but that character has zero to no redeemable qualities as a character. Loving the artwork for these cards though!

Some odd years later, and it still hurts. Haurchefant’s sacrifice will always be remembered, and the Warrior of Light will never forget everything he did for us. For a player who witnessed this moment not too long ago as of writing this post, the pain still feels very fresh.

The FFVI MTG Commander Deck was an awesome experience. I know I don't play the card game, but I can appreciate the artwork and the idea of it. While I'm not going to go out and collect every single deck, I believe I'm going to try to go after the FFX one eventually.

Moments, characters, and awesome artwork — it’s exactly what I was expecting, and that’s what I got. While it’s hard for me to recommend from a pure MTG standpoint, as memorabilia, it definitely has value for FFXIV lovers and Final Fantasy fans in general.
This one features Y’shtola and the FFXIV world, so I’m really happy with it. My friend really surprised me with this gift, and I’m pretty thrilled I got it!
Until Next Time!
