Another Demon Slayer POP! I know, been getting a bit more of these lately! To be fair, though, this isn't mine. It was gifted to a special person. But said person was kind enough for me to review, so here we go!

The chances of me finishing this set are pretty slim. I'm not really interested in any of the POPs since most of them have better versions already.

This character has an interesting story as far as a Hashira goes. I mean, the rest of them have some backstories, but Giyu's turned out to be a bit less fantastical compared to the others. But it does hit hard. As far as the character goes, he's not bad. I do like the action scene he's been involved in, and his action has been pretty good. Like all of the Demon Slayers, he's not going to have a complicated outfit, but it has unique designs that make him stand out from the rest. All of that was put into the POP form and sculpted to the standard of what we expect from Funko. And since he is a water Hashira, the water effects are sculpted all around him, which gives him this cool aura. This isn't a POP Plus, so the elemental effect isn't going to be ridiculously crazy, but for what it is, it's doing what it's supposed to, for sure.

His pose isn't anything too action-y. All things considered, Giyu is just walking with his sword unsheathed and ready. It's done adequately enough, and the water effects swirling about really sells this subtle but imposing pose.

The colors are good enough. There are some slight mishaps with the flesh bleeding over, but all in all, I do like how it's done. Giyu's kimono (?) over the Demon Slayer outfit is very colorful, and Funko painted it with adequate precision to make it all work together.

POP: Muichiro Tokito next to POP Giyu Tomioka looking good next to each other!

The special person loves her Giyu POP. She has him displayed with the other Hashiras, so it all works out. I'm not sure where AAA Anime is, but I'm glad she got this one for her Demon Slayer collection! It's got some good selling point, the water effects looking good, and I love the pose. The slight color mishaps don't do much against it for me so all in all, it's an easy recommendation.
Until Next Time!
