Funko POP: Muichiro Tokito - POP PLUS

Yes, we are now getting into some serious territory! A Demon Slayer POP PLUS! And, of course, it's none other than the Mist Hashira, Muichiro Tokito! Now, I won't sit here and say that I am a full-on fan of Demon Slayer, but I am entertained. Just waiting on the movie and the next season! In the meantime, let's check out this POP that was gifted to me, shall we?

It's a good-looking set, all things considered. Not sure how far I'm going to get into getting the POPs on this wave, but I'm good with the ones I've gotten so far.

Not a bobblehead

Muichiro is not a very complicated character in terms of design. Standing neutral, Tokito is wearing the standard Demon Slayer Corps uniform, and honestly, the color scheme makes him a bit more unique. Though this POP is a Plus, so it's got something to show for its POP title and its price. This whole thing is about the "Mist" coming out all over Tokito. He's getting ready to cut up some poor demon before they have the chance to even know what hits them. Love the details of the mist sculpting. It looks ethereal and just as extravagant in POP form as it was in the anime when Tokito was performing his techniques.

Tokito is posed in a very action pose and it's perfect for him. While I can't say if it's an exact moment from the anime, I do know that he's done something very similar. The way the mists are sculpted helps with the overall dynamic. I love how his lower half, from a certain angle, is all covered up by stylized mists.

The paint job on this thing is pretty amazing. As I mentioned earlier, you don't get a lot of color complexity with Tokito's outfit, but the work put into making something so simple complements the busier energy effects and finer details of the character... to put it simply: it all came out good!

The dark colors like his hair and his markings, ended up as a good juxtaposition with the mellow but prominent presence of his Mist Technique. It's just a good looking POP all in all.

I have more Demon Slayer POPs, trust me. Well, it may not be mine, but I'll have some review. Though this POP Nezuko Kamado in Web is for sure mine.

I didn't think I needed this POP, but after being gifted it and reviewing it, I enjoyed this POP, and it's a good addition! I highly recommend it just for the Mist Technique effects alone! Not to mention, the character had a good moment in the Anime, so there's that! For any Demon Slayer collections looking to finish their Hashiras, this one is the one to go to! It may be harder to get now, last I checked, but if you find it in the wild, snag him!
