Pokemon! The aorable and powerful kind! I'd say around Mew and Mewtwo's appearance is when I stopped watching Pokémon, and that's a long time ago. Still, I couldn't help but snag this one for my special friend, and I'm pretty excited to review it. Let's get to it, shall we?

Ponyta, I want! It's a small, minimal wave, but one of these days, I'm gonna get Ponyta! Probably one of my favorite Pokémon.

As mentioned, Mew is one powerful Pokémon, so don't let her cutesy look fool ya! As far as her POP goes, it gets all of that cutesy thing right! She has the proportions that are almost 100% accurate to her cartoon/game counterpart; needless to say, her shape isn't too far off from POP proportions. Love her sculpt, everything is just right, and that tail! I love how her tail is so prominent. So, yeah. Mew has a pretty easy design to replicate! She's simple, and that, as I say, is some of the best design! Funko did all that right!

As a flying Pokémon, her pose had to stay true, and stay true it did! Posed in a levitating position with a playful body posture, this is a perfect display for Mew. Love that tail all around!

Much like her shape, Mew's color schemes are also pretty simple. Mew is mostly this pastel pink with bright, glowing blue eyes, and Funko got those two colors right. Again, we are used to POPs not having any shadowing or paint detail, and that's fine. As long as accuracy anda clean paint job is there, and Mew has that. I'm happy with this side.

See, what a cute little face, eh? Love that pose, it fits her so much!

Right next to POP Mewtwo, POP Mew looks sick! These two just look right next to each other, and it's all thanks to their Funko versions being accurate!

I'm going to guess that Mew is a Pokémon that is a footnote for any Pokémon fans (casual or hardcore). I could be wrong but I feel like Mew's existence is a pretty big one within the lore of Pokémon. Is her POP worth it? Yes, I think so. She's a bit light and doesn't have the girth like Mewtwo or any other POPs and that could hurt the wallet thinking about it since you get less plastic but pay the same price. But honestly, sometimes less is more, and Mew's POP perfectly captures what makes Mew awesome. My friend loves her, and I'm impressed. A win! Must have, I'd say.

Until Next Time!
