Been waiting to do a review on this guy for a long while now! The Fusion of Goku and Vegeta that spawned from the Potara Earrings' magic is not my favorite fusion of the two, but it is iconic. So here we are with a POP of him, and I wanted to snag him the pair! Here we go! Let's review.

Yes, this is a Chalice Collectibles bundle. But there is a chase version other than the base form Vegito.

Vegito stands out from Gogeta for many reasons. While I’m not 100% sold on the personality difference, design-wise, they look noticeably different. Vegito follows more of Goku’s regular outfit style, with the colors inverted — the dominant blue giving him that strong Vegeta flair. Speaking of the Prince of Saiyans, he also has the gloves and boots similar to Vegeta’s. All of these elements translate seamlessly into Vegito’s POP form.
The clothing wrinkles, the perfect amalgamation of Goku and Vegeta’s hair, and the Potara earrings all look spot-on. The earrings are a huge plus for accuracy!

Vegito is posed, hovering in the air, ready for a fight. Funko added a purple energy effect around him, which makes this simple pose feel much more dynamic. The sculpting on the energy effect is well done, too, so no complaints there.

The colors are cleanly executed. He looks straight out of the anime, which is all I can really ask for. I especially love the translucent plastic used — it gives Vegito’s overall color palette a vibrant pop. There are a couple of small paint defects on his face, but overall it’s still very solid.

A very mean look from Vegito. Just his threat alone should be plenty!

Add a power-up element, and this base Vegito looks even more intimidating!

Wonder what would happen if both these fusions fight. It's a shame that base Gogeta doesn't have any special effects like base Vegito, but hey, I like both of them.

They do look good next to each other! A SSGSS Vegito is sure in the works, right?

While I’m not the biggest Vegito fan, I’m definitely a fan of these fusion designs. This base Vegito POP has a lot going for it. Even as a common release, it feels like a step above, and with Funko getting the basics right, this is a big win for Dragon Ball collectors. Highly recommended!
Until Next Time!
