Adam is definitely not the Black Ranger I think of when the "Black Ranger" title is dropped, but he is a classic one when we are talking about the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. After all, it was Adam who ended up on the big screen (twice). And Adam is behind the suit representing the Black Ranger in the MMPR the Movie. So now we have his POP. Let's check this one out, shall we?

Yes. That quote is something! While frogs are connected to the Ninja lore for some reason, I doubt it's an animal one would think of as a formidable creature... Adam's response to finding out what his animal spirit was would've mirrored what I would've said. It's funny.

As I mentioned earlier, the Mastodon helmet is one of the best-designed helmets among the original Rangers. The design, for the most part, carried over to his movie version. Like the other Rangers, the Black Ranger receives a revamped armored look, and, as I mentioned earlier, it's quite consistent with his team. The armor platings, the different ridges here and there, it's all there, and it looks good.

Adam's pose is more akin to a standard fighting stance and I do like that. It's simple, it allows for the collector to see every fine work done on the POP, and all in all, it's a nice pose overall.

Colors are sharp and clean. the paint job on one of Adam's diamonds on his shoulder blades could use one more wash of white paint, but it's not bleeding and the fading isn't obvious. All in all, no major complaints.

Three different Black Rangers on the spot! Tommy, Adam, and Zack! Out of this, I'd go with classic Zack for sure! One thing is certain, though: they all look good together!
POP: Black Rangers

Consistent with the rest of the Power Rangers the Movie POPs, I'd say Adam is a must. He completes the line-up of the MMPR the Movie crew! Very standard and in line with the rest of his teammates, the 2nd Black Ranger for the Power Rangers does live up to his POP form! We highly recommend, for sure.
Until Next Time!
