Another one from Tommy Oliver? Yes, another one. This is his last one, and honestly, to get another color within the Ranger spectrum is something else. Tommy is, after all, legendary! So let's go ahead if his final Ranger form gets a good POP form. Let's go!

Yes, this wave is finished! So... if these sets do well, does that mean more Power Rangers POP are on their way?

By the time we got to the Turbo Rangers, I was already close to checking out of Power Rangers. When TJ and Cassie came into the picture and when the OG crew was pretty much all gone, so was I. So fast forward to Dino Thunder, yeah, I have no idea what had happened. But one thing is certain: Tommy Oliver continued his life as a Power Ranger and took on a new form as the Black Dino Thunder Ranger! His new black threads are awesome! The design is sleek, simple, but has that flair that sets it apart from his other forms. I love the helmet, the visor shape, and that little bump on his helmet, which is homage to his Brachiosaurus dinosaur spirit. He's got shoulderpads, a new logo on his chest, and some new gold trims all over! As a POP, those details are captured amazingly and are prominent throughout his body.

I'll be the first to admit that I'm not 100% a fan of his pose. I feel like the displaying options are far more limited since the way he is holding his staff is really deterring some good shots--his logo is obscured, which, I feel like, could have been highlighted. Most of the images I saw, Tommy is holding the staff like a sword, which this pose is trying to replicate, but again, the way his stance was sculpted didn't comply with everything else.

Colors are sharp, paint lines on critical areas like the visor are done clean, and the dominant black truly makes other colors like the silver, purple, red, and, of course, the gold--they stand out quite magnificently. This department, I have no real complaints!

A close-up shows attention to detail which I can't help but appreciate!

While it is Tommy's last official live-action Ranger form, it truly is a sight to see the first and the last next to each other. All of these POPs do look great next to each other.

Black and White (with gold)! The White Ranger is still my favorite version of Tommy. And while I don't have a new White Ranger POP (as of taking these pictures), I'd say this older POP still holds up despite the Black Dino Thunder Ranger being brand spanking new!

While I didn't talk highly of the pose, I still say this POP looks amazing. As a part of Tommy Oliver's legacy as a Power Ranger, this POP is a must, especially when displayed next to his other Ranger forms. Is it the best POP to represent Tommy Oliver? No, far from it. But it is awesome to have! We recommend it!
Until Next Time!
