A cute little POP that my girlfriend got herself! Bullseye, the Target mascot, has had some pretty cool collaborations with other IPs, and this time Woody from Toy Story is the cosplay of the day. So let’s take a look at this POP, shall we?

This one came out during the Toy Story 5 run, so Target is doing a solid job with the cross-promotion.

Woody has a pretty distinct look, and anatomy-wise, Bullseye and Woody couldn’t be farther apart — one is a lanky classic cowboy, the other is… well, a dog. Still, putting Bullseye in the sheriff’s outfit is an adorable sight, and Funko did a great job adding the little details from Woody’s classic look. The vest, the flannel shirt, and the cowboy hat are all detailed to closely resemble the Toy Story protagonist’s outfit. I especially love the adorable hat complete with the band around Bullseye’s head. The stitching on the rim of the hat is present and consistent all the way around. The little dog isn’t wearing the bottom half of Woody’s outfit, and honestly, that’s fine. The work done on the Target ball (with the rope wrapped around it) is also really well done, so there’s plenty to appreciate in the details.

Bullseyes is hugging the target ball and has a rope around it. He is standing on his hind legs, completely embracing the red ball and seemingly protective of it. It's a cute little pose that combines the habits of a dog and a cowboy. It makes for an adorable POP; that much is certain.

The colors and paint execution are one of the strongest points of this POP. Woody’s outfit is colored with careful attention to detail — from the red lines on the flannel shirt to the spots on the vest. The hat has a nice leather-like brown that contrasts well against Bullseye’s white fur. The Target logo on his face is done with precision, and even the Target ball is textured and colored in that familiar dark red, looking just like the ones you see near the store entrance.

To infinity and beyond with these two, eh?

'Woody' is the only one that isn't in a cart. So, yes, he looks a little out of place, but that's okay since it's a good-looking set with these four. Makes you wonder when my girlfriend is going to complete the turtles, right?

POPs: Bullseye as "X"

This is a POP series that not everyone may be into, but for fans of Toy Story and these kinds of mash-ups, there’s definitely something here. As I mentioned, the details are pretty spot-on (pun intended) and the colors really pop (another pun). He’s adorable, and I’m genuinely impressed with the work put into this one. I highly recommend it — even as a POP collector who isn’t actively chasing Target exclusives.

Until Next Time!
