Funko POP: Ghost Face (Tongue in Cheek)
Another Ghost Face POP?! Yes. Unintentionally bought and giving my other Ghost Face POP a buddy. Welps, let's get into the review of this POP, shall we?
Funny enough, Ghost Face is getting a handful of variant POPs. Most keep him in this pose while changing the face, colors, and items he is holding. Neat little gimmick that piques a bit of my interest.
A killer dressed in all black while hiding his face behind a mask. Of course, the original isn’t this goofy, but for the most part, this is Ghost Face’s classic visual look. Like the last POP, the details on the cloth wrinkles are well done. The mask is where the real detail and sculpting shine, and in this variant, they’re even more defined. The squinted eyes, the tongue sticking out — it’s all sculpted really well, so no complaints from me.
The pose is pretty simple and the same as the first POP I have of him. The different expression on the mask didn't alter much else. Good enough pose.
Mostly all black with a different shine on the glove and boots. The tongue sticking out adds more red in Ghost Face's palette, and it's a good look. The overall colors are clean so no complaints from me.
Other than the face, this is pretty much the same POP. Classic Ghost Face isn't as jovial as our new friend over here.
I wouldn’t call it a must-have, but if you want another Ghost Face, this isn’t a bad choice. I’d probably go for the standard version first before deviating to these variants, but if you’re in the mood for a funnier face for the Halloween season, this POP hits the right notes. It’s a standard, simple figure, but well-made in all departments.
What more can you ask for?
Until Next Time!
