Oh, I've been excited to review this one! While most people found out about Galacta during Marvel Rivals' initial trailer, I, for one, found out about her during Adam Warren's (yes, that guy, responsible for Empowered) run with her. Yeah! Needless to say, I was pretty excited to see her and the things that might come out thanks to her appearance in Marvel Rivals. Lo and behold, we have a Funko POP of her.

If anything else, Marvel Rivals will continue to push out merch and fanart. I do wish for longevity for the game since it could mean more appearances from other characters, but yeah, let's just pump out some more POPs, please! Psylocke?

As the 'daughter' of Galactus (I'm not explaining how Galactus managed to have a daughter by the way), Galacta's outfit design would resemble her father's. For her Marvel Rivals version, she's given a bit more color but still retains that iconic helmet that she and her father wear. The rest of her outift also has a lot of creative choices, but it's filled with a lot of intricacies, lines, ridges, and basically crossing the line of Final Fantasy/Genshin Impact territory when it comes to designs. And despite that monumental task, Funko incorporated Galacta's outfit designs into her POP. With some sculptwork in just about every part of her, Galacta is probably one of my most complicated-looking POPs thus far. She's also got a hefty weight to her due to all that plastic and that gigantic head, so she's given that stand with a support beam connected to her back. There is a slight tilt to my copy, though, and Galacta seems to want to veer left. Hoping this isn't all Galacta POP, and even if it is, it's an easy fix and not a deal breaker.

Her pose isn't something too complicated, and honestly, I don't know what that object is that is floating in her hand. Most likely tied to the game, and it looks fine. She's got this sass walk going on while looking towards us. The expression in her eyes means she's being a bit playful. Not a bad pose at all.

Galacta is dominantly purple, akin to her father, of course. But there are multiple different shades of purple all over, some tint of blue, white, and some flesh color for her.... well, flesh. While the mix of the colors and how each pigment of blue and purple is distributed is all credited to Galacta's design in-game, Funko did an amazing job making sure that Galacta's vibrant color scheme is replicated in her Funko form. I can honestly say that my copy checks the boxes in terms of color/paint.

There's so much sculpting done with her that it's amazing. Her helmet has a lot of sculpt work, her suit, just amazing stuff.

Galacta has more details than Mount Lady. Her outfit has more complicated designs, so her POP would mirror that. Though I love the two of them so much! Tall, sexy gals with some serious complexes.

Next to the Zords, Galacta isn't as complex in terms of design and sculpt, though she does scale well, and, honestly, they could be her drones meant to fight on her whim.
POP: Super POPs

For me, Galacta was a must. Again, I've appreciated her character ever since Adam Warren's work on her and for a genderbent-parody of Galactus, she does have a place in the massive and complex Universe(s) of Marvel. As a POP, she has a lot of sculpt work and a color/paint job that exceeds the usual expectation of a POP. It was also a wise decision to make her a Super POP (6 inch)! I like this POP and, honestly, she might be a standout in my POP catch for 2025. So, yes, I highly recommend! Plenty of things to appreciate!
Until Next Time!
