Another X-Gal is joining the festive celebration! Jean Grey is a cornerstone of the X-Men, and so it's only fitting she's come to give us a piece of mind of what she does during the Holidays. Without further ado, let's get to the review!

A nice, short, and sweet set. Spoiler, I have all three.

Jean Grey's '90s outfit isn't something I'd say is my favorite. It's got that '90s flair with the shoulder pads and the pockets, and then there's the head harness, which seemed common among superheroes. In Jeans' quadrant, the likes of Gambit and even Havoc have that going on with them. I suppose it's more for looks than practicality. All of the things I mentioned are present on this POP. Of course, since this is Jean Grey for the Holidays, she's given a bit more of a winter spin with the scarf and the UGs to keep her warm. All in all, though, the costume remains the same, and the details given to her look like standard Jean Grey from way back when.

I do love the pose she's given. She's using her mutant powers to either finish wrapping the present or perhaps give it to someone. The translucent plastic does give this POP a bit more of a shake-up, and she doesn't look so plain-jane.

There is some bleeding on her headpiece and hair. The skin also bleeds over, and it's definitely not a perfect paint job. But overall, she looks good. The color on her body suit is spot on, as it was in the cartoon and comics; the dark blue bounces off well. The translucent plastic, meant to showcase her powers, looks great and adds more color depth to her. She looks good overall.

As I mentioned before, I'm glad they gave Jean this pose. At least she's showing her Christmas spirit by wrapping presents.

I like the consistency between these two POPs. Sure, Christmas 2025 has its festive themes going for it, but for the most part, it's the same outfit. The X-Men '97 POP is definitely lacking the extra flair, with the telekinesis being the main focus.

I swear, these two will always find themselves together for some reason. Are the holidays just another way for them to connect, eh?
POP: X-Men Holidays

This Jean Grey POP got its shortcomings, but all in all, she's a good addition to my Christmas POPs. Recommended? I'd say so. She's got good sculpting, details, and I love that use of telekinesis. Be mindful of paint defects, though.
Until Next Time!
