Oh yeah! Another POP that is joint-owned between me and my special friend! Yeah, our nerdiness doesn't really bode well for our funding and our spacing. Still, here's the Pink Ranger from the MMPR the Movie! Let's review the POP, shall we?

This entire set is just based on the movie, so ... are we going to complete it? Am we? Maybe?

MMPR the Movie really amped up the armor look for all the Rangers. And while they all look pretty awesome for the most part, I feel like Kimberly got a small downgrade: she lost her skirt! But beyond that small gripe of mine, the design on Kimberly's new Pink Ranger suit is pretty awesome--really does look like armor with platings, indents, and new designs for their helmet. The 'power coin' symbol is now on their chest, something that the Westerners really want for the Rangers to have. And while this is no longer a Pterodactyl Power Coin (it hasn't been for a while now because by now, Kimberly is using the Firebird), the motifs of her helmet remain to be Pterodactyl... which, again, since Saban kept the Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger suits all the way to Season 3 before turning Zeo, we really have a mash-up of Zyuranger, Dairanger, and Kakuranger by the time we hit MMPR the Movie (and season 3). So all of that info dump has nothing to do with how the POP utlimately looks right? Well, from the movie to the POP, the attention to details, the sculpting, it all looks great all-in-all!

Her pose is a movie moment, suffice to say. The Pteradactyl Whip is a movie-only weapon, and Kimberly did use it to beat up Ivan Ooze's foot soldiers. Even with the proportions as they are, it is the movie moment that I remember. The pose is great and the whip coming forward for a strike--all the details of the armor are still present even with this much movement. I definitely like it!

Even the details on her back are not short-handed. Every curve, every indent of her armor, even the Ranger stick, looks awesome!

The colors are great for this POP. The pink is as pink as you can get. Consistent with past POPs, this Pink Ranger just adjusts some of its color placement to match the higher budget movie. The small Crane logo on her chest is pretty clear and gives another layer to her overall color scheme.

Can simply say that all of these Pink Ranger POPs are all Kimberly. You see the Pterodactyl outfit and it's not Katherine that we think of (but Zeo Pink Ranger, however...). They're all pretty consistent and accurate to their specific source material. I love the evolution of POP details from each one, too!

Pretty sure Ranger Slayer will win this fight, but as a POP, they both look good next to each other.

This '90s action gal was a nationwide crush. While I was more of the Kaitlin Star guy, I do know that Kimberly was part of that 'young crush'. Then again, this movie made sure you knew she was there--but to be honest, the entire crew complemented each other. Her scenes as a Pink Ranger, well, she had her moments for sure, but I still love her moments when she was inside her Crane Zord.

As the start of the Power Rangers the Movie POP, the Pink Ranger starts it off just right. Great detailing on movie suit, awesome pose, accurate, colors are fantastic. It's a good-looking POP. Recommend? Yes. Both my friend and I love this one, and the set was a must (yes, the set review is well on its way).

Until Next Time!
