It's time to review Superman POP! Funny enough, it's my first Superman POP too! Gifted to me by my special somebody! Sweet! So let's just get into the review, shall we?

There is a good lineup of POPs ,but I'm going to stay with this one only. Unless they actually release a Supergirl, then maybe.

DC doesn't have the same contract with its toy companies, I suppose. So, yeah. This is NOT a bobblehead.

I wouldn't say that the new Superman has the best-looking suit, far from it. I still prefer it over Man of Steel, but that's going to create another battleground, so I'll talk about the POP. Superman's suit for the new movie comes with its own quirks. There's a lot of texturing on his suit, lining, a new logo, and, of course, the classic trunks. All of these are present with this POP. Loving the sculpting on the suit, very textured and accurate. The logo isn't painted; it's also sculpted with that classic diamond look. I do love the way the cape is flowing behind him as he is flying. A definitive Superman pose, which is flying, must always be done right, and in plastic form, it's all about how the sculpting is executed. From the body, the hair, the suit, and the cape, the sculpting is standard Funko POP and something I can appreciate.

I already talked about the pose, and it's a flying one--it's perfect.

From this view, the colors are clean and sharp. All across the POP, the paint and colors remain consistent, and I especially love how the logo turned out on his chest. The blue stand, at first, was something I complained about since I'm used to the transparent color. But realizing that it's supposed to represent a gust of his 'shadow' in blue, I actually appreciate it now. I don't have complaints in this department, actually. It turned out rather well.

I just love this pose! I love this shot!

POP Supergirl is a VERY classic POP; back in the day, when their poses were a bit too mundane. Still, the POP Supergirl displayed next to this Superman POP is a good testament to how far POPs have come.

A multiversal Trinity of DC! Nice! And as always, Batman can't fly.

If this is the only Superman POP I'll own, I'm all for it. It's got a perfect pose, great details, and overall, it's just well done. This one is gifted to me, so I'm even happier to have him. A perfect POP? I'd say it does its job. Recommend? Yes. Yes, I do.

Until Next Time!
