Funko POP: Tengen Uzui

Another Demon Slayer POP coming in! And another Hashira--the sound Hashira, Tengen! Let's take a look at this POP! This one's a gift for a special little one!

This wave is definitely set on a specific season! A good season, too!

Tengen's design for a Shinobi is somewhat unusual. Then again, Demon Slayer has some pretty unique and out-of-the-ordinary designs, so here we are. As for the POP, it looks good, considering all the extra sculpting they had to do just for Tengen's clothing and weapons. I appreciate the work put into this, because there are a lot of little details that come with replicating this Hashira. I love the weapons too, how they are in full motion, accurate to how Tengen uses his blades in the anime.

The pose is great! His twin blades moving around, and the illusion of movement is helped by Tengen's stand, which is the smoke effect. It's nicely done here, and it makes the POP stand out more!

Just the Japanese character on the back alone is a testament to how well this POP is colored.

The colors are also as dynamic as the pose. The way he is painted and colored is accurate to the show, so just by paint job and colors alone, Tengen is very recognizable. From the paint/marking on his eyes, to his fingernails, to the myriad of color schemes on his uniform, the smoke effect, it all comes together for a very colorful POP.

These three Hashiras next to each other are looking good! Completing all Hashiras? Maybe?

It's a pretty good POP. Tengen Izui is not my favorite character, and again, this is a gift for a very special person. So they are enjoying it for sure! I recommend this POP for all of the things that come with it. I'd say, it's got some features of a POP Plus, and it's only a common! So that's always a win!
