Funko POP: Wardrobe (Beauty & the Beast)

This isn’t my POP — it’s my girlfriend’s! If I haven’t mentioned it before, she already had a nice collection of POPs before we got together — a mix of Marvel, Disney, and other random stuff from different properties. Of course, being a Beauty and the Beast fan, she has a few, and Ms. Wardrobe over here is one of them. So without further ado, let’s go ahead and review this POP from 2021!

An older set, as one can see. This one is a special version of the wave!

This is a different kind of POP altogether since it’s not a regular humanoid — something I always enjoy when Funko does it, because it’s not the norm for them. The details on her are solid. The drawers with the little handles, the overall shape of the wardrobe, the open cabinet door with Belle’s pink dress hanging off it, and the expressive face all come together nicely. She’s accurate to how she looks in the movie, and the open door with the dress is a nice touch that sells the character. You won’t get a ton of detail on the back, but that’s pretty much how furniture looks anyway. Overall, the sculpt does a good job of making her recognizable right away.

Her only real “pose” is the open door. It works for what it is and lets you see the dress and the inside details. No complaints here — it’s simple, but it fits the character.

She’s mostly this off-white color, but she has yellow and light green accents that give her some contrast. The yellow handles, the little flower detail, the green door, and the pink dress all help break up the cream body. The paint is clean enough, and the colors stay true to the movie design without looking flat.

Speaking of Belle, I do believe that this Disney Princess POP is wearing the dress that Wardrobe has on her door! Very nice!

My girlfriend had this in her collection for a while now and is a nice little addition to my girlfriend’s Beauty and the Beast collection. It’s not a standard humanoid POP, which makes it more interesting on the shelf, and the sculpt captures the wardrobe’s look well enough — especially with the open door and Belle’s dress. The colors are simple but accurate, and it does the job as a character piece. For a Beauty and the Beast fan, it’s a solid one to have. Glad she grabbed it.
Until Next Time!
