RIP Patrick Stewart
We lost another legend this year. Mr. Charles Xavier, as I've known him--but I'm sure to many, Captain Picard would be the more familiar character. Regardless of how you knew Sir Patrick Stewart, he crossed the line to the other side. So as usual, here is a post for me to honor him.
Professor X gained popularity through X-Men: The Animated Series during the 90s. But in the live-action series, Patrick Stewart carried Charles Xavier's fame.
I mean... he looked the part, like Charles Xavier was made just for Patrick Stewart to play--akin to how Ultimate Nick Fury was for Samuel L. Jackson. And even if he wasn't meant to play one of the most powerful telepaths in the Marvel Universe, he owned the mantle of Professor X.
While I never watched Star Trek, Captain Picard became a household name thanks to him. And let's not forget about the memes!
So many great memes just from Captain Picard!
Yes, he was also Emperor Uriel VII. I'll always remember that Oblivion introduction. It was made even more awesome that we got to hear and see his character in the remaster!
We have two months, 2026. Please chill.
Another legend leaves us behind. A man who has spent many, many years entertaining us with characters like Professor X and Captain Picard. Of course, his voice acting is also something we have to honor since he was part of the Elder Scrolls IV!
With Avengers: Doomsday just right there, it's going to be something else seeing Sir Patrick Stewart play Professor X one more time.
Rest in peace, sir. Thank you for the memories.
See You Next Time.
