Funko POP: Zeo Ranger Yellow

Continuing the set! This time we’re going with Zeo’s Yellow Ranger: Tanya Sloan. I’m really excited to review this one because the promotional images immediately caught my attention with that pose. So without further delay, let’s get into it!
No Zords or baddies for this set either. No gonna say that's bumming since my wallet isn't going to take an extra hit, but I always like Zord POPs.
Unfortunately, Tanya Sloan isn’t a Ranger I’m too familiar with. After Trini left, Aisha was the only other Yellow Ranger I really knew until Ashley Hammond took over in Turbo and Space. That said, this Yellow Ranger — both in Super Sentai and Power Rangers — is clearly a female, and the skirt gives it away immediately!
Just like her teammates, she has a consistent uniformed look with the Zeo aesthetic. She also gets her own unique helmet symbol and signature weapon: nunchucks. While they kind of look like an equal sign to me, I believe they represent her number in the team lineup (Number 2). Her dual weapons might also tie into that, but since most Rangers dual-wield, I’m not entirely sure. All these details are well represented in her POP form. She even gets an extra layer of detail with the skirt wrinkling from the implied movement.
Out of all the Zeo Rangers so far, Tanya has the most dynamic pose. Because of it, she actually needs a stand — the first in this wave to require one. Still, it’s a really good-looking pose. The weapons are held away from her body, giving her that classic Power Ranger energy. No complaints here!
Yellow is such a bright, bold color, and Tanya wears it proudly. Like the rest of the Zeo team, the metallic gold accents contrast beautifully against the matte yellow. I really like the shade of yellow they chose too. You can also see the hints of red, silver, and blue on her sidearm popping against all that yellow. There’s one tiny paint scuff on the bottom of her helmet’s oblong shape, but overall she looks great.
I see these three as Trini (MMPR), Aisha (MMPR Movie), and Tanya (Zeo, of course). Three different Rangers who have donned the yellow suit.
POP: Yellow Rangers
Another strong addition to the Zeo lineup! Awesome sculpting, a fun pose, and vibrant, cohesive colors despite all that yellow. I can highly recommend her!
