Funko POP: 90 Years of Mickey Mouse

Ah yes! Another grand reminder that the legendary Mickey Mouse has been gracing us with fantastic stuff for the past 90 years! The amount of merchandise that the icon received for his 90th birthday was overwhelming. I can't say that I got close to seeing most of them, but I will say that I am more than aware that #Funko wanted a piece of the pie.

The box for the POPs themselves is, obviously, longer than your average POP box. The top that features the artwork of the heads of the figure inside also showcases all three. ng of the illustration makes exclusive. I'm sure Mickey's birthday has tons and tons of exclusive merchandise all over retailers online and physical. 90 years is a big milestone for the Mouse. h the vibe, I have to say that I do find myself wearing this--on my next Disneyland/world shenanigans (which, fitting is it that my first one would be Mickey Mouse, the icon and legend of the Walt Disney brand--and 90 years too? Wow. Also, this is, obviously, a bigger box than the normal POPs I get. This is just the first box too.

Yes, it's a T-shirt and a 3-Pack POP. It's definitely a deal. Now let's get to the contents that are inside, shall we?

Okay, I know it's all wrinkled!

The shirt itself is actually not too bad. It's pretty simple and straightforward. It's a plain black tee with illustrations of the three POPs altogether. The silver coloring of the illustration makes it really stand out and black tees are usually really easy to wear with just about anything. With the design and the choice of color simple and yet quite fitting with the vibe, I have to say that I do find myself wearing this--on my next Disneyland/world shenanigans (which, unfortunately, won't be this year for obvious reasons that I don't talk about here).

Mickey Mouse has had different outfits through the years and of course, POP would take advantage. I have the regular seeing a trio inside like this is a breath of fresh air. Also, this guy is an #Amazon exclusive. I'm sure Mickey's birthday has tons and tons of exclusive merchandise all over retailers online and physical. 90 years is a big milestone for the Mouse.

Mickey Mouse has had different outfits through the years and of course, POP would take advantage. I have the regular Conductor Mickey POP, that's about it. Perhaps I'll get some other Mickey Mouse POPs in the future.

The silver coloring does nothing to take away from the simple beauty of this POP. Although, in some aspects, he does look a bit more prestige with being painted in full silver.

Now we're on to Apprentice Mickey. Hailing from the animated short, Fantasia, this Mickey Mouse is pretty iconic as well as the pose that Funko chose to put him in. I have this feeling that there is a "Wizard Mickey" somewhere. Yeah, of course, THERE IS.

It would be really hard to judge this to the fullest with this being only in silver. But one thing is certain, the sculpt is fantastic. The small details on the bucket and the water pouring out of it are amazing.

Although mine came with some weird blemishes in the back of his head. It's rare to see mishaps like these on POPs so I can't really complain too much.

Steamboat Willie Mickey is iconic--far more than the others in this set. Why?

He has appeared in every Walt Disney Animation Studios as an intro for the past however long. So yes, he's pretty darn iconic.

Again, it's hard to judge this POP to its fullest but I have to say that the sculpt is something I adore. The steering wheel stands out a lot to me.

I might want to get him in the 'regular' version. Definitely my favorite in the set!

All in all, it's a nice set. The shirt is nice and definitely wearable and the POPs inside, although not vibrant or something that stands out against my colorful collection, are something special. They represent different moments of Mickey and definitely pay homage to the 90 years of entertainment, magic, and joy he and his kingdom have provided. I can't say I recommend him to casual collectors but for Mickey Mouse and diehard Disney fans who collect POPs, this set is worth checking out!
