An Ad Icons POP! It's been a while, eh? Have another Coke character in the mix! So without further adieu, let's get into the review, shall we?
I really like the all-red (almost all-red) box. For this series, there are only two but I swear there is one more Coke POP. I believe.
Some liberties have been taken for these Ad Icons. Hard to make a stylized proportion when the 'character' in question doesn't have proportion to begin with. In this case. the Coca-Cola can is given arms, legs, and the face in the lower part of the can. It's a pretty simple work-around when making AD Icons and I'm all for it. The sculpting of the can is well done. It has some odd distortions, but as long as it looks like a can, it's in a good spot. The pose is fine. No major complaints in this department.
Colors are just fine. The red sticks out and the famous Coca-Cola lettering and 'swish' are also well placed. The red shoes is a different shade from the can so all in all, no complaints when it comes to the coloring.
Here is POP Coca-Cola next to the POP Co-Cola Bottlecap. One day, I hope they go back to the actually bottle itself. Coke tastes the best while in a bottle.
A must-have? Diehards of Coke and completionists probably have to have him. Me? I just like him and Coke is my favorite soda--if I was to claim one, that is. All in all, it does its job and there aren't any major complaints from me.
Until Next Time!
