Funko POP: Alien with Claw

The CLLLAAAWWWWWW! Another gift for my Girlfriend, and this character is kind of a bit thing for us. Funny how I can pinpoint Toy Story Aliens as a big moment for her and me. Seeing this on her list, I had to get it for her! So... enough details about us. Let's review this POP, shall we?
At the time I was taking pictures of this POP, I didn't own a single Toy Story-related POP. I'm implying, by the way, that all changed.
There’s a special place in my heart for the Aliens from Toy Story. They had some great moments in the movies, but for me, they’re mostly tied to funny memories. While I haven’t actively hunted for their POPs myself, getting this one as a gift for my girlfriend was an easy yes — especially since she loves Toy Story and Pixar.
As far as the POP itself, it does a great job replicating how the Aliens look in the films. The single antenna, three eyes, ears, and spacesuit are all very accurate. I particularly love the triple eyes and the way they sculpted the mouth in that classic “oooohhh” expression — I can almost hear it now. The claw is also really well done! All in all, it’s a win for the mold and sculpt work.
The pose is very loyal to the squeezable toy version from the movie. He looks so happy to have been chosen, and the fact that such a simple pose can convey that is a definite plus. Here’s hoping it wasn’t Sid controlling the claw!
The Alien has a pretty simple but effective color palette — vibrant and very kid-friendly. Funko did a solid job replicating the colors. The paint is clean, the colors are bright and accurate, and there are no complaints from me.
I prefer these little dudes over the Minions, truth be told. I love these guys. They're just hilariously obsessed with that claw.
Both Pixars! Both POPs are definitely leaning into their specific moments.

And, of course, A Spider-Gwen hangout is something the Alien won't complain about.
POP: Spiders & Yeti
This is a neat little POP with plenty of personal sentiment between my girlfriend and me. That alone makes it worth recommending, but it also stands on its own with strong sculpt work, a fitting pose, and great colors. It’s definitely a good one and would be perfect for any Toy Story fan.
