Funko POP: Disney 100 (Elsa Diamond Version)

Updated: Jun 5, 2023

Got ourselves another #POP in the gallery! This time, it's another special version for the 100th year of Disney! With that said, let's get into the review, shall we?

An exclusive from Funko.com itself! Gotta say, I am starting to get these 'exclusive' versions and I'm not minding them too much. Guess it just matters with the character/s and the franchise, right? Well, can't forget about Elsa. I always thought that this 'moment' for Disney's 100th year should have the glitz and glam that Elsa did in the movie. And here it is.

Not sure if I'll pick up any other Disney 100 (other than Elsa). But there are some possible candidates. Happy to have Elsa--duh.

There's definitely not much I can say about this POP. She's got the Elsa pose that is given homage. A Funko POP celebration in respect to Disney's 100th year of entertainment. It's a special edition of an already special series celebration. The glitz and glam definitely add to the story of this POP and I definitely appreciate what it has done! No glitter is falling off onto my review table and nothing sticking to my fingers. All in all, I do like it.

I do love the special effect coming off her cape!

The blue is definitely highlighted thanks to the glitter layer. I do like the darker blue tint and that is made even more regal than it already was. The transparent part of Elsa's cape is not robbed of the same diamond shine. Her skin and hair definitely do not get new paint, but that's understandable. Though the snowflake designs on her braids definitely are given love.

Here is Funko POP: Disney 100 (Elsa Diamond Version) next to Funko POP: Disney 100 (Elsa). I am also keeping her inside the box and will display her that way. I didn't do a side-by-side comparison of the two out of the box but they are VERY identical. Obviously, the difference is the coloring scheme.

Necessary? For me? Yes. Get the standard or the Diamond? Well, that's hard to say since the standard version has a lot of sentimental value for me and it's Elsa. So why not both? A bit biased, but I'm telling you, it's a must-have for both of these POPs to grace your collection!

Until Next Time!
