Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta was a thing for DBGT. And as I had stated before, while DBGT isn't high on my list and the SSJ4 look isn't going to trump SSJ, SSJ2, or 3, or even Blue, the aesthetics has grown on me and I can appreciate it. So here we are with a Gogeta in SSJ4 POP. Let's not dally anymore and take a look at this POP, shall we?
Yes, I have the Chase version of this SSJ4 Gogeta. Just to be blunt, I'm not going to review the Chase version.

Gogeta's vest is one of his signature looks, and I'm glad it carried over to his SSJ4 form. The baggy pants, the sash, and the boots all stuck around, too. Honestly, the furry look on his arms and that non-traditional red SSJ hair look pretty solid on Gogeta—so seeing it translate this well to POP form isn't a bad thing one bit.
The sculpting and details are seriously impressive here. The texturing on his arms really mimics fur, and the wrinkles in the pants perfectly capture how fabric would bunch and shift during dynamic movement. All in all, the accuracy and level of detail on this Gogeta POP are amazing—even if SSJ4 isn't my favorite fused Saiyan version.

The Chase version of this SSJ4 Gogeta POP features the Big Bang Kamehameha special effect that glows in the dark—super cool touch for display lighting. Gogeta is floating mid-air with his hands extended forward, unleashing that massive Ki blast. The common version skips the glowy effect, but the pose still works great either way.
As always, I love when a figure captures that floating/levitating feel. The way his tail and sash are sculpted to imply movement with the motion gives it a really dynamic, aesthetic vibe.

Gogeta's color scheme isn't bad at all. That red hair and fur look awesome—it's a deep tint of red with a bit of orange mixed in, giving it that dark, intense vibe. It's funny how SSJ4 Gogeta in DBGT basically reuses traditional DBZ Gogeta elements (like the vest and outfit), but the red fur and hair make it feel like a completely different, edgier look overall.
The paint job and execution are sharp and accurate across the board. While I didn't open the Chase version with the glow-in-the-dark effect, this POP still looks awesome and pulls off the SSJ4 aesthetic perfectly—no complaints here.

Chase POPs aren't something I'm expecting to sell. So what's the purpose of getting the Chase? Honestly, I initially thought I was going to open both but here I am.

The fusion brothers! The three look great next to each other!

I'm still a bigger fan of DBZ/Super Gogeta, but SSJ4 Gogeta is a good addition to this lineup of POPs.
POP: SSJ4s & Gogetas

It's a good POP overall. The common version, while missing the Ki blast effect, still does a ton to sell the character and the figure itself. Recommend? Absolutely yes. Great details, sharp colors, spot-on accuracy, and he just looks killer on display. All in all, it's a solid win!
Until Next Time!
