Soft color Pokemons on the way! This time it's none other than the Pokémon mascot himself, Pikachu! Of course, this is part of my special friend's Pokémon collection, and I'm pretty excited to review him! So let's get to it!

Part of the soft color series that we've been collecting! Pikachu is a Funko exclusive, however.

Pikachu has a simple, adorable, and instantly recognizable design. Honestly, calling Pikachu a household name almost undersells just how popular this cute little lightning-elemental mouse is. The lightning-shaped tail, the small body, and the pointy, bunny-like ears are all present and accurately sculpted in POP form.
Since the Pokémon’s design is already simple, the POP follows suit—but it absolutely gets the job done.

Pikachu’s pose is just as simple as his design—and honestly, it works. They could always go with a more dynamic pose, but this straightforward stance fits him perfectly.

The majority of Pikachu’s body is yellow, accented with brown stripes, red cheeks, and black details. Of course, this is the soft-colored version, so the yellow isn’t as vibrant as usual. These softer takes on classic Pokémon designs are something my friend and I really enjoy.

I’m hoping Raichu eventually gets more love. I honestly like the second form more than the original, but both are very cute. The two of them displayed next to each other make for a really nice picture.

And then there's all of them put together! The base level Pokemon all in their soft-colroed version.

Yes, there are plenty of Pikachu POPs out there. Most of them are just Pikachu doing the cute Pikachu thing.

This one’s a must-have for a lot of reasons—but if lighter, less vibrant colors aren’t your thing, there are plenty of other Pikachu POP options out there. My friend and I love this one, and while it doesn’t have the size, dynamic pose, or the most eye-catching colors, it’s simple and accurate—and most of the time, that’s exactly what we want in a POP.
Until Next Time!
