Funko POP: Rengoku Kyojuro (Premium)

Yes, the box is bigger!

A premium POP? Yeah, it's a new thing that Funko is forking out. It's a bit more pricey that the common POPs and we are to find out if it's worthy of the price. With that said, let's take a look at another Demon Slayer Hashira who made his way as a POP! Let's review Kyojuro Rengoku, shall we?

This is a good looking set. I'm not sure if I will be getting any of these, but it's a good set, so that's for sure!

Not a bobblehead

Rengoku is the first Hashira that got me to pay attention to the elite Demon Slayers. The POP has a lot going for it! It's a heavy piece, for sure. Most of that weight comes from the amazing sculpting done with his fire effect, that dragon wrapping itself around Rengoku is just perfect for this Hashira's element. I love how it looks like flames but transitions into a dragon. The transparent plastic used also works well! The details on his hair are accurate and outrageous--much like the character himself. The wrinkles on his clothes, the way his cape is moving with the fire, and the posture he is taking; absolutely beautiful job.

Look at that dragon! Look at the shape of the flames as it is dancing around Rengoku!

I love how the cape is reacting to the dragon flames, lifting from the hot air the Breathing Technique is letting off.

The designs of the Demon Slayer crew are full of vibrancy mixed with a subtle hint of black and white. I do love how it all comes together with the flame attack, and Rengoku's cape, his crazy hair, and the blade design. It's just all well-colored. No complaints at all from me.

My only other Demon Slayer POP is POP: Nezuko in Web (Deluxe). It's funny how the two are both non-common POPs. I feel as if I'm going to get more Demon Slayer POPs in the future.

While this POP is a gift for another friend collector, I can still honestly say that I can recommend this one. Rengoku's moment is pretty sick in the anime, and so far, the Hashiras I've encountered all have some pivotal moments. Going deluxe and showing some of those pivotal moments in POP form is a good selling point, so for any Demon Slayer/POP collector fans, it's going to be a good treat! Don't miss out on this one!
