Yes, another Vegeta POP! This time it’s the Prince of all Saiyans getting ready to unleash his powerful Galick Gun! Pretty excited to review this one, so let’s dive right in.
This is a Challice Collectibles exclusive. The more I collect Dragon Ball POPs, the more I realize how many goodies they have!
Vegeta’s Galick Gun was the first signature Ki blast I ever saw him use. That iconic standoff with Goku — Kamehameha versus Galick Gun — is still legendary. As the years went on, Vegeta got moves like Final Flash and Big Bang Attack, but the Galick Gun will always feel like his equivalent to the Kamehameha. So it only feels right that we finally get a POP of him performing it.
This version is based on his appearance during the Saiyan Saga when he and Nappa invaded Earth. It’s a nice homage to the first time Vegeta and Goku went head-to-head. The details on his armor are accurate — the shoulder pads, the tail, the whole classic setup. Funko has done plenty of Vegeta POPs by now, so they’ve pretty much nailed his look. This one definitely looks like the Prince, and I’m happy about it.
The pose is the winning sauce for the POP. Since he is hovering in the air, the stand helps keep Vegeta 'floating' as he charges up his Ki Blast. I love the sculpted energy all around him, giving him that aura of his about to tear some sh*t up. I love this pose! Another dynamic and familiar scene from my childhood!
As I’ve mentioned before, Funko has gotten really good at picking the right colors to match Vegeta’s anime appearance. There are some minor paint defects, especially around his widow’s peak, but overall he looks clean and solid. The translucent energy effects surrounding him do a great job of creating the illusion that he is gathering power.
Adding the Element-Lightning adds more intensity for this moment.
It’s amazing how much Funko has improved over the years with Vegeta POPs (and POPs in general).
As I said, add some POP Elements in the mix and the energy gathering looks absolutely amazing!

Yes, I understand the purple glowing energy is missing from this POP. Maybe another Galick Gun Vegeta will fill that void? Is there another one with Vegeta doing this move?
I can’t call this an absolute must-have, but I highly recommend it. For anyone collecting Vegeta POPs, this one feels essential. It’s an iconic moment in his timeline, and as a figure, it has a lot going for it. It’s also fairly easy to get from Chalice Collectibles at a reasonable price. I’m really happy I picked him up!
