Funko POP: Elements/Lightning

Ah! POP elements coming into my collection! Yes, my special friend bought me this, and I was very shocked (no pun intended). How will this enhance my POP photoshoots? Let's find out, shall we?

POP accessories are a nice gimmick that I'm glad Funko caught up on. They can really enhance POP display options with complementary special effects like this. As you'll see, there are plenty of characters and situations that can really benefit from POP elements. And, yes, there are more.

It’s a three-piece accessory. The back piece is the most decorative and dynamic, featuring crackling blue and yellow energy with lightning effects. As a backdrop, it really captures that wild and unpredictable motion, just like how lightning and energy look in anime or the MCU.
The other two pieces act as clouds with additional blue energy. They’re not symmetrical, which is actually a good thing — it gives them more character and visual interest.

Of course, Storm would be a good candidate to add some crackling energy effect. Whether it's just Ororo Monroe, or an alternate version of her, like the Venomized Storm there, the POP lightning element just looks good--especially when the POP of Storm already comes with a special effect too!

Iron Hammer looks imposing as heck. Summoning the wrath of thunder and lightning, Stark is ready to put the hammer down!
Funny how I don't have a Thor POP, but I do have two Beta Ray Bills. Same idea though. Bill looks comfy in his element!

Even with characters that aren’t necessarily associated with the element, like Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan, the lightning effect still works really well — especially on Super Saiyan 2 forms with those signature crackling energy effects.

Sypha didn't start throwing this element until later on in the original Netflix run, but it still makes sense. She was pretty flashy when using lightning. Not the best fit, but it still looks good!

The backdrop can be taken out, so you can display it like this. Vivec is really giving off that God aura, ain’t he?

And, of course, Pikachu fits the bill! He looks so happy and dangerous all at the same time!
Pretty unique POP review, right? Then again, POP Elements are still pretty new in my collection. They don’t stand on their own, but they’re an amazing addition that can really elevate a POP, as seen above. Sure, I won’t be gluing mine to any figure just yet since I’ll be using them for photoshoots, but I’m very fortunate my Special Friend gifted me this set! Definite recommendation from me!
Until Next Time!
