I honestly do like this blind box wave from POPMart! I've always been a big fan of Iron Man's variety of armor, so getting a collectible (and affordable) version of some of his armors isn't exactly a bad thing for me. So here we have the Silver Centurion! One of my favorite Iron Man armors! Enough stalling then, let's review!
Two down, eleven more to go, eh?

I’m quite certain I’ve made it clear that the Silver Centurion is an armor that means a lot to me. Stark was wearing this armor the first time I ever saw him in a comic book, so that alone puts it high in my ranking. It has a classic design, meaning there’s a lot of musculature, as if Stark is wearing metallic tights — which lines up with how Iron Man looked for a good portion of his history until the late 90s and beyond. Of course, the red portions of his armor give more of that robotic look, complete with the shoulder pads, boots, and gloves. The helmet is also pretty recognizable with its dome shape.
The triangle on his chestpiece is something Stark has used on multiple armors, but I usually picture the Silver Centurion (and Mark VI) whenever I think of that particular arc reactor design. This POP Mart figurine managed to replicate all those recognizable features.
Sure, the proportions are a bit exaggerated, but the overall look, attention to detail, and presentation from a sculpting standpoint are a thumbs up. I even like the subtle hint of Iron Monger on the Silver Centurion’s base!

Silver Centurion has a safe bet pose — a very familiar and traditional one for Iron Man. I’m never going to say that having Iron Man stand there with a repulsor ready to fire is a bad way to pose him.

Bright metallic cherry red paired with matching metallic silver. He looks like the Silver Centurion through and through. I even appreciate the contrast on his base. All in all, it’s cleanly done with no paint defects on my copy.

Funny enough, this comic book was the basis of the first Iron Man movie. Decades later, it's still an iconic milestone.

What a lineup! Some of my "Silver Centurion" figures. Yes, I have two Hot Toys from some time ago.

An easy recommendation! Funny enough, this was my first snag from this blind box series, and I was sold immediately. While the armor itself already pushes this figure high for me, the execution of the sculpt work, the paint, the pose, and overall presentation make it an awesome little piece that Iron Man fans and collectors would be happy to add to their collection.
Until Next Time!
