#WF2020W is here! DiD I cover it last year? I can't remember! Oh well! This year it will get some coverage and much thanks to the Kotobukiya Bishoujo Collectors group for all the wonderful efforts! Now, let's get right into the good stuff!
The #MLP Bishoujos are getting lots of love from me! I already have Twilight and Pinkie; Fluttershy on the BBTS Loot; then there's Rarity and Rainbow Dash also on preorder. But Applejack was the last to be announced from the Mane 5 and with Winter Wonderland 2020, here we are! She looks good, truth to be told! Definitely excited to have her in hand to finish off my Mane 5.
BUT, as luck would have it, Hasbro and Kotobukiya decided to expand with other popular Ponies. Sunset Shimmer is the next to join the Mane 5... I'm sure Starlight Glimmer is going to be joining the fray. The Princesses, perhaps?
Now THIS beauty was unexpected. I have the original Black Cat and... she's not my favorite one. The pose for version 2 seems... a bit more Felicia like. I'm still debating about this but I guess I'll just have to see how the final product looks like.
Now, to be honest, Mera's announcement is something I may not have been excited about had it not been for Amber Heard. She was definitely a sight for sore eyes during the Aquaman movie. I definitely might want to see how this one turns out especially if they add some water base or something.
Now the Bishoujo Horror line isn't my favorite. I have Chucky, and I love her death but as for the others, I passed. Now, passing on a Bishoujo is usually hard to pass but I was able to. With Pennywise....... yeah. I just might be tempted. For sure.
There were a few more announced and probably more coming. I can't say I'm super tempted but I won't mind having some of these in my collection. Some are just repaints or what not, but it's still fun to look at. Then again, it's Bishoujo--even if the characters, theme, or series isn't something I find myself gravitating to, I'll always find it in me to admire them and at times, tempted.
Well, let's see what else Kotobukiya announces this year, eh?
