It’s not Experiment 626 for June 26th — today we have Experiment 151, aka Babyfier!
Yes, it’s one of Stitch’s siblings, and we’re so happy to finally be rolling out our collection of these Experiments. With Funko announcing more of them, it only makes sense to get things started sooner rather than later. So without further ado, here’s Babyfier in POP form! Let’s go!

This one is a Hot Topic exclusive, and yes, Babyfier is not listed in this wave. This is a rare one, for lack of a better word.

As someone who never watched the animated series, I’m not super familiar with all the shenanigans of Stitch and his fellow Experiments. I do know they explored the staggering 600+ creatures similar to Stitch, each with its own unique abilities. Babyfier’s power is turning living creatures into babies — hence the name. Design-wise, you can clearly see the Stitch DNA, but Babyfier has its own distinct features: wings, shorter ears, smaller antennae, and a rattle for a tail. To top it off, he has a pacifier in his mouth, fully committing to the gimmick. All of this is represented really well in POP form. The proportions and overall look are very faithful to the character, so this feels like a solid one-for-one translation of Experiment 151.

While not overly dynamic, Babyfier is posed floating, which fits perfectly since most images of him show him flying. The figure stand supports the flying posture nicely. No complaints here.

The color scheme is very similar to Angel’s — mostly pink with touches of purple and white. He’s vibrant and stands out. My copy has a small paint defect on the baby rattle tail, but everything else looks clean.

I don't have a standard Stitch without his orignal outfit, nor do I have a plain Angel. Maybe on the horizon? All in all, it's nice to compare these three.

And here are other Experiments. Got a feeling that this family is going to keep on growing.

While I don’t see this as a must-have for everyone, as a Stitch fan and someone trying to help complete my girlfriend’s collection, Babyfier is an awesome catch. He’s pretty loyal to his appearance in the series and well-detailed within Funko’s standards. If this is the quality we can expect from the other Experiments, then we’re off to a really good start!
Until Next Time!
