Rocky is coming in next on the lineup! Definitely one of the worst Red Rangers between Jason, Tommy, and himself (only really watched the first few episodes of Turbo Ranger).

This wave, so far, is turning out quite nice. Let's see if Rocky holds and passes the torch, shall we?

The suit has all the details as the last two MMPR The Movie POPs that I reviewed. It's got the platings, the musculature, and the individual uniqueness of the Red Ranger are all present. As we go through these reviews, I might not be as dscriptive in this section because for the majority of the design, it's relatively the same and Funko is pretty consistent. If anything is glaring that is worth talking about, I'll bring it up. With that said, Rocky's Red Ranger movie looks as a POP is a win!

I like the pose. It's very Power Ranger style. It's nothing too crazy, but it does look like it's something Rocky did during the movie.

Colors are also pretty sharp. The red looks great too, contrasting against the white, the black, and the silver bounce off each other in a perfect blend.

The classic "Tyrannosaurus" mouth, by this time, had become obsolete since the Red Dragon was now Rocky's Zord. But it still looked great. I don't know how Funko could've done the Power Scope as an alternate head, but I do know Funko has dabbled in swappable pieces before. Though I feel like the Yellow Ranger's glow-in-the-dark gimmick was easier to replicate than a completely different sculpt on the helmet.

There's no contest between Jason and Rocky. None. But in terms of POP, the Movie line definitely has a bit more intricacies with the designs, as expected. Can't say I can pick one over the other, but the classic is also high on the list as a must for me.

Rocky, next to Tommy, doesn't have much to compare since Tommy is the Power Ranger, but these POPs, all being released around the same time as each other, all look great and very modern.

Yes, I'm aware that this match-up doesn't make sense, but I wanted to see them next to each other, okay?

I've talked down about Rocky this entire time, but his POP is an absolute must. While the idea of an alternate head piece is something to think about, all in all, Movie Red Ranger looks awesom,e and he met the standard. We are very happy to have him!
Until Next Time!
