Funko POP: Reuben Sleeping

What an adorable moment! Experiment 625 in all his glory: being lazy and sleeping on top of a sandwich that he made! This POP was a must for my special friend to have, so I bought it, and here it is for the review! Let's go!

The Lilo & Stitch brand is definitely not short on POPs. Regardless, this POP is another horizontal POP, so we get that unique boxing that is exclusive to a couple of POPs.

Clearly not a bobblehead

Reuben's design isn't too far off from Stitch. Since he is number 625, his abilities are similar to Stitch's also. The difference is that this experiment is lazy as heck and loves to make sandwiches. Well, this POP got the memo and managed to represent all of that in this POP. And honestly, I love how it turned out! The sandwich, Ruben's details are pretty spot on, his body, accurate to what he looks like. Some lines aren't usually visible with normal POPs since it is under the head, but I can't complain much about that. The bread isn't as detailed as I'd expect, but it looks good--it's a peanut better sandwich, I believe, and it looks irght.

The pose is perfect for Reuben. And honestly, it's sculpted just fine, and I do think it looks great.

Colors look pretty spot on for the most part. There is some weird paint fading on one of Reuben's teeth, but nothing too distracting. Some shadowing could make the figure look plastic-looking, but all in all, no real major complaints.

This POP Luau Angel is from the same set. I gifted my friend another Reuben, but I don't believe I reviewed it. Angel is dancing and keeping the vibes going, while Reuben is sleeping and pausing the vibe.

My special friend really wanted this one so what she wants, so I try to get it for her. It's a nice POP, and while Stitch-related POPs are not a rare commodity these days, certain experiments do need some love. Will Funko make Experiment 328 or 619? We shall see. We shall see! In the meantime, we do love this one! It's a limited count, so we're very glad to have one!
