Funko POP: Spider-Man

I've mentioned it once or twice that I need a 'basic' Spider-Man. Well, here it is! A POP that's just supposed to be Spider-Man!

It's a 'basic' Avengers set. Weirdly enough, they left out Thor, Widow, and Hawkeye--this seems like a contemporary team with Spidey in the mix. Probably just going to go for the Spider-Man here.

It's classic Spider-Man, as classic as red and blue Spidey can be. A lot of good things to love about this Spider-Man, with the sculpting put into him. The weblines, all over him, while not painted, are all detailed out with every line, every crevice, and give the red portion of the POP depth. The spider logo on his bag is also sculpted in, making it stick out rather than it just a paint. The eyes on his mask also gets the same treatment like most Spidey masks since they are also sculpted. This Spidey also has the web-pits sculpted in there so there's that for an accurate classic Spidey!

His pose isn't something that's going to represent the usual dynamic Spider-Man POPs we've been getting. This POP, however, isn't swinging on webs or jumping. This Spidey's pretty grounded. However, it still works since this Spidey has his thwipping hands ready!

Colors are simple and did the job just fine! The paints are clean and complement the sculpting. No complaints here.

The Box Lunch POP of upside-down Spidey was my 'classic' Spidey for a while, though it didn't work with a one-to-one comparison with most Spidey POPs.

Gotta have classic Spidey next to Peter Parker/Spider-Man. The Spideys are from two different timelines but they have a lot in common.

Classic Black Suit Spidey next to the Red & Blue Spidey! Looks damn good together!

Classic and his clones! I'm really happy to put a very classic Spider-Man POP next to the two main clones!

Big screen Spideys next to a classic! Again, they look so damn good!

I needed a classic Spider-Man POP. I've said that a few times already, but that's the truth! What started as just me getting the POP as a 'hey I need it' rather than 'wanting it', became a 'this POP is cool'. And the POP does have a lot of merit: great sculpting on his suit, cleanly painted, nicely posed, and attention to detail. It's a great POP and honestly, this POP will make a lot of appearances from here on out! I highly recommend!
Until Next Time!
