Joining the spookiness of Halloween, we have the Evil Queen in disguise. This one is another blacklight version. POPs do have a lot of gimmicks, and I haven't touched all of them yet but since this is my second blacklight POP, let's see how much I get motivated to get a blacklight. So, with that said, let's get into the review shall we?

The set isn't too bad. Would probably want to see what Maleficent and Hook look like but I'd rather get the non-blacklight version, honestly.

As far as a witch is concerned, the Evil Queen knew how to pick a form, eh? She had that exaggerated look, the older, scowling, and obviously up to no good. The POP version captured the look so immaculately that I'm impressed. It's not just in the face too. I love that poison apple, the little sculpting done is quite nice. The way the cloak is, with all its wrinkles, also done quite well. The pose, while not something that will spells out as 'super dynamic', is still worthy of praise. All in all, the simple posing allows for all the details done to the POP to stand out.

I do love the details on this side of the Queen's robe.

The colors are well done. Of course, it's a blacklight special, so it has some unique coloring. I love the purple shadowing, giving the blackness of her robe. The pink hair sticking out works well next to her bright highlighter face. This part is also well done!

The little raven gets his details too. That's a nice little addition.

The Evil Queen looks a bit more evil with the black light gimmick.

Here are some big baddies over here. These POPs have a vibe of evil, doesn't it?

These two Queens will be the female dogs of the party. Also, the Queen of Hearts is a 'deluxe' rider POP.

The Virtue of Disney and the first Big Evil of a Disney Princess movie.

The Witch and the Devil in POP Blacklight versions. Yes, I'm aware, I need to see these under a blacklight lamp.

Got this for the Halloween season, even if it is pushing it to be one. But hey, the Evil Queen is pretty creepy-spooky looking. She does have what it takes to be part of the 31st. As a POP on her own merits, she got the details to her sculpt, a good pose, clean coloring, and she has a tiny bird. It's a win. I recommend it even if she's for Halloween or not.

Until Next Time!
