Funko POP: Vegeta (Galick Gun 2)
Yes, the Vegeta POPs continue to make their way into my collection. 2026 really ramped it up with my Vegeta lineup. So, with that said, here’s another Vegeta charging up for a Galick Gun attack! Let’s review!
They should do a picture of all the Vegetas on the back!
This is a standard Vegeta POP in his Saiyan Saga appearance from DBZ. Shoulder pads, chest armor, gloves, boots, and the tail wrapped around his waist are all there. No scouter, but that’s accurate for this look. Funko has the classic Vegeta design down at this point, and the hair sculpt is sharp as usual. Nothing groundbreaking, but it gets the job done.
Vegeta is posed flying upward, charging himself up to throw a Galick Gun. The energy effect behind him sells the power-up moment. I get why the base is there, but I feel like this would look better if it showed him already higher up in the air instead of still close to the ground. Still, the pose works well enough and looks dynamic once it’s on the shelf.
Accurate to the Saiyan Saga design. Blue bodysuit, yellow armor pieces, white gloves and boots, black hair — same as the other classic Vegetas I’ve owned. The pink energy effect is bright and stands out, and the orange debris on the base gives it a little extra. Paint is clean and vibrant overall. No major issues.
The sculpt difference is obvious! Years apart and look at the progress they've made!
I'm convinced at this point that they use the same head sculpt. But they're not; you can tell by the eyebrows and the lining on his hair. Pretty similar though!
The gap in power by this point is pretty obvious! That, and I feel like Final Flash is Vegeta's stronger attack.
If you want to talk about the difference in power level! SSGSS is a completely (almost) different person too, so current Vegeta would scoff and laugh at his younger self.
POP: Prince of all Saiyans (once again)
Another solid classic Vegeta in the lineup. The sculpt is what you’d expect at this point; the pose does a decent job of capturing the Galick Gun charge-up, and the colors are sharp. It’s not the most dynamic version Funko has done, but it still looks good next to the others. Happy to keep adding to the Vegeta collection.
Until Next Time!
