Funko POP: White Ranger (MMPR the Movie 30th Anniversary)

Then there's the former 6th Ranger joining the crew! The bread and butter leader of the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Tommy has made a name for himself, and he is a franchise staple. It's a given that his movie version was going to get a POP with or without the crew. Well, he's here now to complete the team! Let's take a look at Tommy's POP, shall we?
Yes, one of these pictures was not taken by my usual camera. I wonder which ones, eh? Again, Tommy completes the entire team! All the Power Rangers are here!
Tommy's White Ranger suit was not part of the Zyuranger series; instead, it came from Dairanger. With that said, the costume designs between him and his team are drastically different. So, for his movie suit, he still retains the chest piece, a different design for his helmet, and his overall look does not have the same intricacies as the others, but it does have its own unique look that still allows Funko to go all out with the sculpt. Honestly, it's all done just as much as I would expect. I really like the work put into here and the accuracy to how Tommy looked in the movie, the ridges, the lining, the gold, the details on his helmet, it hits the right spots! I'm impressed.
The White Ranger has his classic fighting pose with this POP. For some reason, I always see Tommy have some kind of fighting stance with his hands open, whether he was Green, White, Red, or Black. This stance, in particular, he does do in the movie, so it's perfect.
Very minor paint bleeding and a strange black mark on the helmet take this POP out of the perfect status. But the colors overall look good, and that gold is a nice vibrant contrast to the matted white and black colors.
I love the look of his helmet! The lack of lips puts him aside from the other Rangers, and I love it!
Honestly, I love the TV show looks a little more than the movie version. But they are 80% similar, so the movie version is still a pretty sick look for the White Ranger. I'm going to get that other Funko White Ranger exclusive! I swear it!
I will always prefer the White Ranger over the Green Ranger. Though the Dragonzord is classic and seeing them next to a White Ranger Tommy is always awesome!

The Legendary Power Ranger. That much is certain!
If there is one POP from this set that can be collected by himself, it's Tommy. Still, the entire Ranger set is awesome, and we are so glad to have this version of the White Ranger. Great pose, quality control is decent, and all in all, it's executed well. Recommend? Hell yeah!
