Oh, yes. Rocky DeSantos. The second Red and second Blue Ranger of the MMPR era (I don't tend to count the Alien Rangers). Let's see what his POP Zeo Ranger Blue looks like. Let's go!

Second to the last one of this crew! So far, I've liked this set.

Rocky had the daunting task of taking over as the Red Ranger after Jason. Then, when he became the Blue Ranger for the Zeo team, he had to live up to Billy’s legacy in that color. Hate to say it, but Rocky was never really going to reach their tier. Still, at least he got a fresh Blue Ranger outfit that wasn’t just a rehash from the MMPR days. He also gets that upside-down triangle insignia, so there’s that!
Funko did their standard solid work here. All the expected details are present, and just like with the other Zeo Rangers, the sculpting is great. I really have no complaints on that front.

His weapons are tonfas. The “spike” part should be positioned under his arm, covering most of his forearm. I looked up how he actually used them in the show, and I didn’t see anything that matches how Funko posed him here. To be honest, it looks a bit odd — almost too similar to Zeo Ranger Green’s pose. That’s a clear mishap. If they had posed the tonfas correctly, I would’ve been fine with him crossing his arms in front. While he still looks good overall, that mistake is something I can’t unsee.

Colors are pretty standard from what we've seen with the others, so I'm not going to go into too much detail. Slight scuff on the triangle insignia, but all in all, it's clean.

Still a dying shame that Rocky had to follow after Billy. But then again, a lot of folks would not have held a candle to Billy one bit. However, the POPs all look good.

And then, of course, like I pointed out, Rocky had to Jason, so he was pretty much on his way to failure. But at least he got to don the Red Ranger for MMPR: The Movie. So we can say two out of the three POPs here are Rocky.

Another solid addition to the set. There’s nothing wrong with the details or the paint job — it’s mostly clean. The pose may not be my favorite, but all in all, he’s decent. There were a lot of things working against Zeo Ranger Blue in the show, but as a POP, he’s not bad at all. I can definitely recommend him!
Until Next Time!
