Funko POP: Zeo Ranger Green

The Green Zeo Ranger is here! Let's review the next addition to the Zeo Ranger team, shall we?
It’s a bit odd seeing this lineup without Zeo Ranger Red, but he was actually released a year earlier as part of the Tommy Oliver wave.
Tommy Oliver’s legendary run as the Green Ranger elevated that color to a whole new level. This Green Ranger, however, isn’t Tommy — it’s Adam Park, the former Black Ranger. When the team upgraded to the new Zeo Crystals, the color assignments got shuffled, and Adam ended up with the green that many still associated with Tommy at the time. He also gets the signature rectangular helmet design and his exclusive dual hatchets as weapons. Other than the color and those specific traits, Adam doesn’t look drastically different from the rest of the team — a common theme I’ve noticed while reviewing these POPs.
The gold trim has nice sculpted details that add depth to what is otherwise a simple but regal-looking Ranger outfit. Overall, the Zeo Ranger Green POP does a solid job replicating the suit. The sculpting is clean, and I have no real complaints.
The pose is alright. The way he’s holding his hatchets isn’t exactly how I’d picture someone in a battle stance, but I understand they weren’t going for anything overly dynamic. It’s not bad, but I can definitely imagine stronger poses for him.
Green and gold are an excellent combination. The metallic shine of the gold contrasts beautifully against the matte green and white. There are no paint mishaps or defects, so I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.
I know Adam as the Green Ranger doesn’t quite reach Tommy levels, but seeing these three Rangers together still makes for a great display. The greens and golds just work really well side by side.
Adam didn't have the cool factor when taking on the mantle of the Mastodon and Lion. But I definitely remember him accepting his Frog spirit! Kind of a shame, as the new Green Ranger, he was kind of a background character for most episodes.
If it isn’t obvious already, when it comes to Rangers I like to complete the full set. So yes, Zeo Ranger Green was kind of a must for me. As a standalone POP, he delivers everything you’d expect. A different pose might have elevated him more, but it’s not a dealbreaker. All in all, I like this one!
