Bishoujo: MISC (News)

Well, it's that time of the year! Another amazing slew of announcements from Kotobukiya regarding their Bishoujo lineups! As always, will probably not get all of these, or maybe if any at all, but I do like to look at what Bishoujo is up to. With that said let's take a look at the slew of announcements that just came out; some new, some updates, regardless, let's enjoy!

I've settled with getting the Mane Five from MLP, and I don't think I'm going to pull the trigger on the Princesses, Starlight Glimmer, or Sunset Shimmer. Definitely not interested in getting Chrysalis, but her Bishoujo form is pretty interesting.

Princess Cadance, however, kind of gives me a bit of an 'I want it', but most likely I'll stay away. Unless, of course, I get a whole lot of extra funds, whichI don't see that happening any time soon.

Bishoujos: My MLP Collection

I was curious about the movie, and the first M3GAN seemed to have put herself within the horror genre. The second movie flipped the switch, but that didn't stop Kotobukiya from pushing forward with a Bishoujo announcement for M3GAN. Again, curious, butI doubt she'll make it to my collection.

We're back to fighting games! Dakrstalkers deserves a comeback, but until they do, Bishoujo keeps the gals going with some amazing statues. I do have Morrigan in my collection, and I was interested in some of them. B.B. Hood will probably not join the ranks, but she is cool-looking.

Don't really know who this gal is but I love that pose and her outfit ain't bad.

At first, I thought she was Vice, but I guess not. Again, another cool-looking concept, all thanks to Shunya Yamashita's drawings of these Bishoujo girls.

Now that is a sick looking prototype. I do love the stance, the details, the simple base; it all looks good. Again, I am not familiar with the character, but it gets me to look. Another small chance (or zero) of a Bishoujo making it to my collection.

Yuri Sakazaki is an archetype character that I often pay attention to. And for a bit, I did use her when I played SNK vs Capcom 2, and she was awesome; she didn't hit very hard, but I loved linking her combos. I am very interested in her Bishoujo since she was one of my mains in that game. That and she's just cute.

I always get excited about Kotobukiya announcements. Never know who they are going to make Bishoujos out of. Still hoping for Final Fantasy and Disney Princesses to cut, but alas, we're in 2025 and zero still. Will update as these figures make it to prototype and all that. With that said, that's it for now.
