A little guy really wanted this POP and was told no, so I bought it for him. Truth to be told, when I saw this Pokémon, I thought it was one of the most adorable things that I've seen in a long time with Pokémon. Kind of like the little guy! So let's see if this POP deserves all the love and attention. Let's go!

A fire Pokémon! Yeah, I wondered why fire? We'll see soon enough.

This thing is adorable! It's a gigantic happy face with teeth, small arms, feet, and a stubby tail. Its proportions canonically already leaned into a POP, so it was a no-brainer. Funko also sculpted Fuecoco's features accurately, including the giant mouth with very little to no teeth, the eyes, the two hairs on its head, and the stubs for arms and legs. It's not a complex design, all things considered, but the nearly flawless execution definitely won me over (and the Little Guy).

There's no intricate pose, and this Pokémon didn't need it. It stands with a giant smile, and that's all it needed to do.

The colors are also spot on! It's not entirely complicated color patterns or anything like that but it is Fuecoco's trademark colors. The dark orange mixed with the off-white and the fiery highlights, it's cleanly painted and nothing to complain about. It does the job, for sure.

This little guy is definitely out of his league next to Mew and Mewtwo. But he is cute, that much is obvious.

All fire-based Pokemons! Charizard definitely fits the bill when it comes to fire breathing creatures, eh?
POP: Gotta Catch 'Em All

Are we serious? That adorable little thing evolves into something goofy and cute to a straight-up Killer Croc in Flames?! Depending on how you want to keep this Pokémon, you either rush to evolve it into that killer or you keep it as adorable as possible.

Gifting this to a very special little person brought a smile to my face. While it leans more towards the adorable and cute side of Pokemon, it fits perfect for the younger kids who do casually love Pokemon. As a POP? It does it's job. POP of the year? Not even close but let's be honest, that's not what it's trying to go for. Curious to see if they come out with Fuecoco's final evolution though in POP form. Yeeesh.
Until Next Time!
