Kitana! Safe to say that she is the Chun Li of Mortal Kombat? Another addition to my special friend's collection. Pretty excited to review this one. Just in the box, Kitana looks awesome. So let's get into it then, shall we?

Two out of the three snagged inside this wave and, honestly, there shoudl've been more. Wait, there are exclusives out there hahah.

Mortal Kombat XI gave some of these iconic characters new costumes. Kitana has always had a dual purpose for her clothing: to look sexy and deadly. Sometimes the first is more of the gimmick of her threads, but for MK XI, it's trying to lean on practicality and sexy, and I'd say it works. There is plenty to like in the way her costume succeeds in making sure that fans recognize her; complete with her classic mask, the fan blades, and the sleek designs for her bodysuit, Funko made sure that layers of costume are all sculpted. I love the lining details, the way the fans are made, and the sculpted blood. I especially love how it all comes together in her POP form. Truly a lot of great work put in here and I can't help but appreciate every single one.

She doesn't have a very dynamic pose, and that's okay. She's got a stance that leans more on her feminine appeal, but those fans spread out and displayed like that allow the collector to see Kitana for all of her glory.

Colors are well chosen, and the paint job is sharp. There's no defected areas and overall, it looks like Kitana from Mortal Kombat XI. I especially love how they gave the right areas the metallic coloring like her fan blades. Honestly, there's no complaints from me.

While I do like Jin Sakai's POP with the bloody variant, I do feel that Kitana got the extra detail with the blood. Though, honestly, I think the painted blood works well but the sculpted blood has some merit compared to it.

Two classic Fighting Game gals! Of couse, both aren't in their iconic first appearance, but they are still recognizable regardless. The warmer and softer coloring of Chun Li next to the cooler but bolder shades of Kitana is a good juxtaposition from each other! I love it!

There was a different focus when it comes to her Mortal Kombat IX outfit. Still, one can tell it's the same character but just in a different point of her life, or a multiverse version of her, eh?

From the same wave! The sculptwork and quality are consistent! These are two good POPs!

An amazing design for a character deserved a peak design. A POP version of that same amazing work of art that checks every good box of what a POP should be. This is what was accomplished with Kitana MK XI POP. Details, color, accuracy, and so much more! I highly recommend this POP. My friend was excited to have her, and to be fair, Kitana is worth the hype. If you find her, nab her! A must for Kitana/Mortal Kombat fans!
Until Next Time!
