Since we are in the spooky season, we should look into one of Marvel's spooky and fiendish characters: Mephisto! Going to be a fun POP to look at so let's just get on with the review without any more delay, okay?

This is a spooky wave! A Strange Tales set! There are some good ones here, though I might stick with the ones I already have. More on that!

Mephisto is one of those classic Marvel villains who has touched nearly every corner of the Marvel Universe, making it hard not to have heard about him. From the street level, the supernatural, Avengers level, heck... even Cosmic, Mephisto has been there. He's even synonymous with an awful Spider-Man story (y'all know). But the core of him is pretty much simple: he made himself look like the devil as the devil is known in mainstream, which is a whole lot of red and some kind of cloak to give him that aura. Funko absolutely nails it with the accuracy portion, as all of the recognizable traits of Marvel's Mephistor are present. Especially love the work put into the devil's hair--it's spikey and expressive, paired with those pointy ears of his that make him look like a devious character. Love the mean scowl he's got going on, too! The wrinkles on his cape as Mephisto clutches onto it truly give this POP a dramatic flare! Loving the details for sure!

Pose is everything, and this devil got that going for him. It's an iconic pose, and I say it's a well-chosen one. While maintaining the spirit of the art that it's inspired by, this POP managed to keep the balance between goofy off-proportion Mephisto In the process. Absolutely no complaints from me.

Mephistor has three shades of red, and his POP form really leaned in on that. Love the pale red for the skin, complemented by the darker tone of his red hair, cape, collar, and all. Then that bright red body... the reds are all cleanly done, and despite the minor bleeding between the hairline and the skin, it's executed fine. The bright white eyes and the black liner make the face!

With a face like that, wouldn't you want to make a deal?

Two devils, but definitely only one truly holds the powers to claim to be a Devil. Still, Matt can always be a soldier for Mephisto.

Doctor Doom Rivals version aside, these two have a lot of rivalry.

We got a glimpse of Mephisto in the MCU, and I'm almost certain that he is going to stand well next to these two in POP form. Not sure if the three of them will ever cross paths.

Some maniacal team-up right there! Funny that Cletus is a bit more capable than the Red Skull in this lineup.

I'm sure y'all can see the inspirations of demonic beings here.

Seriously! Who wouldn't make a deal with that guy?!
Mephisto makes his presence known; that much is certain. You've got to be something to square up to the likes of Norin Rad and Victor Von Doom!

An easy recommendation. The Strange Tales are definitely released for Marvel to have an attendance for the spooky season, so technically, Mephisto here is a Halloween POP? Well, I don't care. He'll be displayed all year long. Good looking POP. Accurate and well done; all I could ever ask for.
Until Next Time!
